You got duty that whole weekend? Is there anybody who'd be willing to switch with you? I know when I was in I might get lucky enough to find someone willing to switch duty days with me.

Another alternative, if you ahve leave time. take a couple days leave, give them some BS about family or something.

[/ QUOTE ]
I do not have that luxury. I am here training on a new system we barely get off on the weekends as it is.

Lighthouse, will this Pocket D VIP Pass be handed out on other days beside Saturday? Saturday is sold out, but I think I can make it there for Friday.

[/ QUOTE ]

We will be passing out the VIP passes all days of the show, of course the event is Saturday night so Sunday will be for collectibles if we have any left over by then.

Regards,

Ex

I just got the credit card bill for flight and tickets. Good thing they don't charge for car rentals till you get there or I think I'd have a little heart attack. :S

See you all next week!

The VIP Pass will also unlock a special in game item that was selected for this show only.

[/ QUOTE ]
Please tell us what this special item is.

And please consider making this item available to those people who could not attend Comic Con. Perhaps for a small fee? This makes everyone happy. NCSoft makes money, and those people that want this item can have it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe it will be a future vet reward. :P

They did at PAX last year, so if that's any indication then yes they probably will have something to say at the conventions...

Getting a signal shouldn't be a problem, as Dreamworks Pictures is sponsering free Wi-Fi for the whole con! (linky)

Aye, no signal problems in the past. Why I suggested bringing a DS if you have it. Lots of spontanous games breaking out over wi-fi and share while waiting in line for panels to start.

If you are coming to the 2008 Comc-Con International in San Diego, running from July 23rd to July 27th, be sure to stop by the NCsoft Booth #5209 in Hall G. If you need a reason to do so, here are a few!

Visit with members of the City of Heroes Community and Development Team , including: Alex “Lighthouse” von Minden, Jill “Ex Libris” Henderson, Ray “Blue Steel” Snyder and Concept Artist Carolina Tello.

Bring a picture of your City of Heroes or City of Villains character and have it drawn by Fanzine artist Dave Hamann! If you are not familiar with Dave’s artwork, check out the interior illustrations in the City of Heroes Fanzine or see gun on the web. Dave will be in the NCsoft booth over the course of Comic Con. Interested players should visit the NCsoft booth first thing to register for a time slot for Dave to make a sketch of their character while they watch! Availability is limited and is on a first come first serve basis, so print out your character and come by to get a great piece of art!

Get your pass to the City of Heroes Pocket D Jubilee event schedule for Saturday, July 26th! What better way to celebrate City of Heroes than with a party! We have a great event scheduled at a nearby night club (this is an age 21 and up event) on Saturday!

For current subscribers, your Pocket D Pass includes a special San Diego Comic Con code to unlock a permanent costume power to allow you to take on the appearance of a Freakshow Boss!

Supplies of these special passes with the costume code are limited (first come first served) and only so many will be given out per day, so come by the NCsoft booth early!

Win a custom gaming PC with City of Heroes Artwork!

There will be a number of different raffles you can enter when visiting the NCsoft booth, including one for this awesome gaming PC which sports the following specifications:

• Abit AX78 Motherboard
• 2x Diamond Radeon 3850’s in Crossfire
• AMD Phenom 9650
• 2GB Gskill DDR2
• Western Digital Caviar 500GB
• Zalman 1000 Watt Modular PSU
• Zalman CPU Cooler

Purchase a special Comic Con City of Heroes FREEM! T-Shirt and other great NCsoft and City of Heroes merchandise. At this year’s Comic Con, the NCsoft booth will have a full featured store, featuring many items from NCsoft games, including a City of Heroes FREEM! T-shirt commemorating our April Fool’s joke from earlier in the year. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out the April Fool’s news article that started it all!

We’re excited to see you at this year’s Comic Con!
