(They don't have to be Dim Sum places, Dim Sum just occured to me as a possible good thing to do in San Francisco kind of thing. Any suggestion would be welcome!)
    Here are my Chinatown Recommendations:

City View Restaurant - 662 Commercial Street - Dim Sum
Hunan Home's - 622 Jackson Street - My favorite place to eat in Chinatown
Golden Gate Bakery - 1029 Grant Ave - Try the egg tart, it is the best!
    R & G Lounge - 631 Kearny Street - Great Chinese seafood place
  4. My suggestion is that we should do a lunch or an early dinner in Chinatown. It is just couple of blocks away from Elephant and Castle.
  5. I hope you guys have a good breakfast.

    Is there any lunch plan?
  6. Sorry to hear the news that Axel passed away.

    *Hugs Chewie*

It wasn't my fault that people got lost to In-N-Out...

    Welcome back Neutra!
  8. Have a safe flight Braxxus. See you on Saturday.

I talked to Kalita and she will not able to make it to the Justice dinner on Friday night. She is working on Saturday and I am trying to convince her to swing by the hotel after her work shift is over to grab a drink with the Justice peeps.

I will see everyone at Hero-Con on Saturday.
  10. It was great to see everyone at Murder Burger and hopefully I will see everyone at Hero Con. Chewie had a great time because when he got into the car he crashed and did not wake up until we got to the Bay Bridge.

Thanks Mod 8 for the free swags.

Peep and Scimi, it was great to see you at dinner. I hope you enjoyed the sushi at Yuzu.
  11. Chewie and I are heading to Murder Burger. We shall see everyone at 11AM.
  12. Chewie just woke me up and he is excited to go to Murder Burger.

What do you expect from a 7 pounds Yorkie?
  14. Chewie and I are going to just be there for Murder Burger. I don't think I can convince Chewie to go to Chevy's for a strawberry magarita.
  15. I cannot wait for a Murder Burger on Saturday.

EDIT: As long as we get proper FULL addresses this year. And complete directions.

You hear that Red Gren and Diamond Dragoon? I'm talking to you. I'll forgive infallible for his fallible directions to the liquor store since he was a visitor to the region as well.

Sorry TJ... I know I gave you and other people bad directions to the In-N-Out in Santa Clara. If we do go to another In-N-Out this year, I will print out the directions.

If by good Dim Sum you mean the Hong Kong Flower Lounge (big peach building by the corner of Milbrae Avenue and El Camino) you are right it is good, although I prefer the food at Fook Yuen (about 2 blocks south on El Camino I believe and yes that really is its name). The spare ribs are to die for. If you are in the mood for Thai in the area I recommend the Thai Stick (yes also really its name) which is 3 blocks north on El Camino but the best food in the area is a small Vietnamese resteraunt 2 blocks north on El Camino (just past Pete's Cafe which is good for breakfast or deep in the middle of the night, the german baby which is really the name of the dish is excellent) called Le Petite Camile.

The best Dim Sum I've had in the area is Koi Palace in Daly City, but I'm not really an expert. Also it's been like a decade, so take that reccomendation with a grain of salt.

And whoever mentioned burger joints in the East Bay and left out Nations is going to hell for the unforgivable sin of not mentioning one of the best local chains (also does a good breakfast).

    Now I'm hungry.

Mod 8 is right that Koi Palace is the best place for Dim Sum and also for seafood. You have to go early to get a table because if show up around noon, you will be waiting for at least over an hour.

Currently, my favorite Dim Sum place is Zen Peninsula on El Camino Real in Millbrae.
  19. 11AM is doable for me. I don't know about everyone else...
  20. Normally, Dim Sum is served during lunch and brunch.

There are a handful of Bob's Big Boy locations in California, but they're all concentrated in the LA area.

Showing my age here I guess. I remember when there were Bob's Big Boy restaurants here in the Bay Area. I loved going there as a kid. Thanks for the memories guys!

Was there a Bob's Big Boy near the Winchester Mystery House? I recalled there was also a Bob's Big Boy in South Lake Tahoe.
  22. There are Bob's Big Boy in Southern California.

As for Carl's Jr, I like their Western Bacon Cheeseburger.
