so, Posi ..... when can we get more slots per server? With xp smoothing I'm gonna get all my toons on my home server to 50 too fast. I'd rather pay $20 for 5 more slots on my home server than $10 to transfer one of my 50s and $20 more to swap out toons any time I wanna play the 50 with my friends and sg mates.

What do you say?


Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped.

Just read the features and i am pleased. Finally i get my battle axe wielding fire brute and oh so many things. Sounds great. Cant wait so ummm whens it going live lol

Very nice issue from the sounds of it. New powersets for existing ATs and a new Zone. Add to that Epics that the villain players been whining for. Nice!

What was all this guff about i12 getting overlooked for the most part because i13 is supposed to be more stuff. If this is overlooking, then i13's going to cause head explosions across the country.

Oh, so very much new stuff!

I have a character with a "disgraced, cashiered Night Widow" background story. I may have to re-roll her (she's only about lvl 18) as a Villain Epic Night Widow. Yay!!

The Roman costume pieces look fantastic, and that's a genuinely innovative idea for a new zone.

Psi/EM Blaster...the new FotM?

I love the sound of the improvements to The Hollows. They're really trying to address the PITA elements of the zone while still keeping it challenging. Can't wait to see it.

Maybe the branching will make it awesome? And if that works out maybe they can add more branching powersets.

Wewt! I called it! People, when the red-name's started to actually warn us the issue was going to be small, I knew something was up... really! Now, before the nay-sayers filter in...

That is a most excellent taste of things to come! Great job sneaking in all sorts of features no one was expecting yet!

Hey thats a pretty legitimate complaint though. Villains are RIGHT back with Arachnos. I can't wait till the RPers get ahold of this. Alot of em are gonna be pissed lol.

JOIN THE MIDNIGHT SQUAD (LEVELS 10 - 20)
The clandestine organization of mystics, scholars and mages, known only as the Midnight Squad, seeks to rebuild its numbers since the devastating assault of the Rikti Invasion. The Midnighters hold a secret that could bring the alien assault to an end, but without the help of the Heroes of Paragon City™ it will remain Lost forever.

NEW ROMAN-STYLE ZONE MAPS (LEVELS 35 - 50)
The Midnighters hold many secrets within their walls, including a highly coveted Ouroboros crystal, enabling them to travel to the far reaches of time. There is a familiar threat in an ancient land and the Midnighters need the help of both Heroes and Villains to stop it. Players step foot upon the ancient land of the Roman Cimeroran Peninsula, where they battle deadly creatures, defend an ancient city and ultimately come face to face with the enemy of time itself. Throughout this journey players uncover the mysteries of power and the origins that guide them today.

UNLOCK ROMAN-STYLE ARMOR COSTUMES
Through their accomplishments, players unlock the new Roman themed armor costume set.



Villain Epic Archetypes
Infiltrate the Arachnos organization from within! Upon reaching level 50, Villains unlock two new Epic Archetypes; Wolf Spiders and Blood Widows. They have their own unique storyline and missions, power combinations and costume sets. Branching powersets allow the Wolf Spider to specialize as either a Bane Spider or Crab Spider and the Blood Widow chooses from the Fortunata and Night Widow branches. Each brings with it unique costumes for your Arachnos duties, as well as your newfound role as a Destined One.



Powerset Proliferation
Using his newly built Resonance Manipulator, the Villain scientist known as Dr. Brainstorm™ has discovered a way to alter the energy strands which connect every Hero and Villain to their powers. This discovery has not only opened the door to new powers for his fellow Villains in the Rogue Isles™, but has also done the same for the Heroes of Paragon City ™! Specifically, new characters of almost every Hero and Villain archetype gain access to an additional primary and secondary powerset that they didn’t have access to previously. Details to come!



Hollows Zone "Gameplay Makeover"
Significant changes have been made to the Hollows zone to make it more fun! NPC encounters have been rebalanced, including new spawns, new villain groups, mission door improvements, and a mobile hospital has been added to the entrance of the zone. Additionally, Meg Mason, a new contact, has been added to give out repeatable missions.



Major Gameplay Improvements
Eight configurable new power trays let players customize their User Interface by placing them anywhere on the screen.
Contact display redesign: Contacts are now listed separately as Active and Inactive, and players can sort contacts by a range of criteria including Name, Zone, and Level Range.
Inspiration Conversion: Right click an inspiration to convert three of that kind into any one inspiration of another kind.
Level Up Boost: Upon reaching enough XP to level up (at all levels), one of each type of large inspiration is immediately cast upon your character, and health and endurance bars are immediately filled.
Chat improvements: Right click on character names in chat window to ignore, add to friends list, invite to team, etc. Drag any item (enhancement, inspiration, salvage, etc.) into the chat window so that you and others can click a hotlink to view the complete info box.
More Real Numbers: Players can now display stats on powers before they choose them enabling more informed power selection and new temporary powers allow players to display enemy stats.

Well, not like we really know much more about how they will play from just reading that blurb. I expect it is going to be something quite different in itself, and I find that interesting. The combos in dual blades are what make that set interesting to me, and the idea of new play styles is awesome.

No, you may not have my stuff because I'm not leaving, as I'm not forced to play this pathetic excuse for a villain "epic". I'll still happily play my Stalkers and enjoy it.

But, see.. yet again we're forced into being Recluse's lackey. This is one of the major complaints many villain players have about this game. I can understand wanting to do something generic as it's incredibly easy to do, but compared to Kheldians, this is a poor, poor archetype.

I'm excited about the other stuff, I guess. Just, talk about a let-down.

I must say, I'm a bit worried with this. I fear that, with this issue being so 'small', and I13 being the much bigger release, that this game is doomed. I fear that it will create a black hole of pure awesomeness, and the servers will collapse in on themselves. Sure, you people who live far away from the servers might have time to escape the wrath, but I live in the town next to them. As soon as I13 goes live, I will most likely be instantly devoured by the awesome.

I12 and I13 have literally made me afraid for my life. Devs, can we please get LESS stuff in these issues?
