High Beams Flashback Badging Guide (Hero)
Hatred's Hungry Heart is the way to go for the 30-34 badges. First mission is a rescue, once you get him you'll be ambushed. Just run to the back of the room and he'll be overpowered and killed. Mission fail, but arc continues. 2 "Kill 10" hunts, all enemies in area well below your level. The only thing that might get you is the "Free Tuatha From Spells" mission. However, if you have /bind <key> "targetcustomnext Captive Tuatha", this mission becomes quite easy. Last mission find three henges, destroy, exit, victory.
Also, this arc takes place entirely within Croatoa, so no extra zoning would be required.

I am soooo glad that these were done this way and not by orders of magnitude like the Epic Healing and Damage badges.
Can you imagine what it would have been like if they were:
5
10
25
50
100
250
500
1000
5000
10000
sooooooooo glad

The last mission is the time-travel mission to atlas. Simply ignore all mobs except the one that helds Mender Lazarus captive. Together with the Mender get towards the meteor and try to first get rid of the minions. Then unload your wrath on the EB. Hardest part, in my opinion, was to destroy the meteor.
[/ QUOTE ]
You have to beat the EB to free the Mender. The Mender cannot help you defeat the EB.

If you free the mender first, he will follow you around and will help you kill off the EB. Same as in the Rikti mission. Did this at least 3 times to get the badges.
I'm not understanding this at all. When I did the mission the EB is one of the mobs guarding the Mender. You cannot free the Mender without defeating the EB.
Is my memory just playing tricks on me?

No, you are correct. The few times I've done this, Mender is guarded by the EB every time.
Wonderful guide!
Two things I'll add:
1. If you have a confusion power, run the Enemy Buffed option on all arcs. It improves completion time considerably as the minions just about two-shot each other, and three-shot lts.
2. An invisibility power is golden!

Thanks everyone for the feedback. As always, there are going to be special cases. When I wrote this I based it on my testing using a Blaster with no "real" mitigation (holds), with no invisibility or things like that. An example would be my aversion to the Red Cap arcs. A Tanker or a Scrapper would probably be better serverd doing those because they arent as squishy. Arcs that have a lot of defeat boss only types where you can stealth around most mobs would be better if you had an invisibility power. But on an Energy/Ice Blaster with no holds, no invisibility, no mez resistance/protection, I felt it was best to suggest the ones I did.
Individual experience may vary
Again, thanks for all of the feedback. As it was only the second guide I have ever written, feedback is a good thing.

This is a great guide...I was nonplussed by all the Ouroboros badges at first (much as I was with the Crafting badges...) but I rolled up the sleeves and dove right into it.
Into the 30-34 band currently, using the Croatoa arc by Kelly Nemmers for this. Since I now have Mass Confusion to go with the rest of my powers, things aren't quite as obnoxious for me...plus I get some Arcane salvage too, woo!
Thanks again, I'll make sure to say hi if ever I am on Freedom.
Edit: Kronos Titan in the timed mission is an Elite Boss if I remember. Was able to drop it with 3 people once.

Out of curiosity, how do you rate the Kheldian arcs to the recommended? My central badge -ahem- 'collector' is mt Peace Bringer so I have the options of the Kheld arcs as well as the general story ones. I've already run one and (though sort of odd talking to Shadowstar as opposed to Sunstrom) I got the call option after the first mission, that cuts the 'run to the contact' bit down a great deal.

Great guide, High Beam. As a squishy defender as my badger, this will help me a lot with mission selection. Just funny that the 3 missions you suggested up to lvl 24 are the ones I picked myself. Since that flowed pretty well, I'll follow your guide on up to 50.

True, they're helpful to even non-squishies, but it's also good to keep in mind that on two of the challenge settings, No Temp powers and only AT powers, you won't have access to Shivans.

But they are super-helpful when you're debuffed or the enemies are buffed. I try to make sure I have my temp powers when I select either of the two for additional firepower.
Excellent guide! Thank you.

I actually consider them far more useful when running without inspirations or enhancements... which IMO is a far greater handicap than buffed enemies or debuffed chars

Since the Kheldin arcs are only available to Kheldins, I did not rate them. I am sorry, I dont evenhave a Kheldin. Someone else could weigh in here though and present an answer. Though I cringe at the thought of Quantum whatevers while debuffed. Zoinks man!

Actually there have been reports that the challenge badges do not work with the low-level Kheldian arcs.

Well, I'll have to check on the low level parts, but I know 25+ offer the badges. I ran the Fear and Loathing in Stirga (25-30) and Scary Monsters (30-35) arcs and got the badges.

To offer a small response to the villain side of things, I recommend the Radio's arc "The Hit List" for the 10-15 range.
3 missions, none of them 'kill all' or 'escort out'.
The first mission is in Cap and you start in PO, which makes the time on 30 minutes a tad tight, but the Ouroboros Portal shortcut is awesome.

Sweet!
Thanks, Nericus.
Made my day twice - a whole guide ready to go and we agreed on the Radio.
For the 45-50 range, the Ouroboros Initiation is a nice option, as it only consists of 12 missions, but 8 of them are "talk to x" all in the Ouroboros area.
The first mission, "Retrieve the information" can just quickly be zipped trough as you only have to find the real computer. The 5th columnists aren#t a real threat, just your reduced power pools are an unusual sight.
The second mission is a bit hard one, as you are reduced to lvl 1 but the map is filled with contaminated. Just go for the captured NPC's and get to the indoor part. Just killing the mobs that hold the NPC's captive (always 3 minions) and clicking the PC should finish the mission. Thios mission is especially hard with no Temp Powers or being debuffed
The third mission is inside the Rikti Caves, and has mezzers. But as you fight at your normal level, this shouldn't be much of a problem. One normal boss guards Mender Lazarus, who can help you on the final boss (or draw alot of aggro, your decission)
I got all 3 "Time" and "Defeat" badges on this flashback arc, partially being debuffed.
Also a sidenote: It seems, that arcs, that begin with a "kill X" mission (refering to Red Tomax guide) often ignore the first mission and will start with the second mission in line.
