I'm sure one of the lowbies in your SG will love it!
Holy [censored]. I think if I saw someone spending that much of the SG's salvage (and yea, I consider it the SG's salvage) on a buff that'll last em 5 minutes in a mission, I think I'd go nuts.
I was thinking, you know, like 1 Tech Material. Or 3 random pieces of raw salvage. Even if the buffs were 1-use temp powers that could be stored for later use, these prices are too high.

Here are the powers they grant.
Confustion Resistance
Fear Resistance
Fire Resistance
Grant Invisibility
Increase Attack Speed
Increase Flight Speed
Increase Jump Speed
Increase Perception
Increase Run Speed
Knockback Increase
Knockback Protection
Lethal Resistance
Sleep Resistance
Slow Resistance
Smashing Resistance

What no temp flight?
This is a song about a super hero named Tony. Its called Tony's theme.

No, they are not temporary powers .... they are Buffs ....
IE you have flight, so you can use an Increase Flight Speed Buff ...to do just that ....
I hope I can create my own level 50 HO's :P LOL!

What did you mean by 'and Enhancement Test(2)'? Is that some sort of add-on to the Empowerment Station?
Can you stack the buffs?
Seems to me the high costs and low durations comes from worries that one large SG will go nuts with self-buffs and then run around dominating PvP or something.
Perhaps a better solution (one far more amenable to low-level groups and levels the playing field against high level groups) is to limit the number of buffs you can have on you at once. Say, only 1 (or 3 or 5) at a time. Then give them a 30 minute time limit and seriously reduce the costs involved.
It still should be something that you're not grabbing for every mission, but it shouldn't be something that you grab only once a month either.
I don't think I even HAVE enough salvage to get a psi resist buff... and I'm level 40 O.O

They're passive temp powers that expire after 15 minutes of game time.
You can't stack them, because you can't have two of the exact same power.
The powers need to work in Nova and Dwarf form, and the costs need to be drastically reduced. Buying a temp power in Siren's Call is way better than using these stations right now.
Once again, this is the reason I am continually underwhelmed and disinterested in doing anything with supergroups.

Can we get whoever designed the cost of these recipes to be accountable and explain to us why a 15 minute Grant Invis buff costs more than 5 teleporters?
The only thing worse than devs making bad decisions is the hoard of fanboys and bootlickers that keep cheering them on.
Enhancement Test, and Enhancement Test 2 were the 2 things you could create in the invention tab at an empowerment station, I didn't test number 2 ... so I dont know if it will yield any different result in Enh

So why not just one or the either (high costs or low durations)?
But these high costs neuter any non-large, non-constantly active SG.
Same deal with the normal prestige costs as they currently are; puts the brakes on small groups.
Hopefully these are temporary high-ball figures and people can "negotiate" lower values before it goes Live. Either that, or finally implement some kind of scaling factor based on the size of the SG.
I've already forgotten about most of you
I'm at work, so I can't test this, but I just had a frightening tought...
do these buffs remain in place if you die? normally an buff (like a Bubble, or RA, or Dull Pain) evaporates if you die and rez.
anyone able to check this? thanks.

OMG look at the cost for the invisibility buff! That's more than the cost for five (5!) basic telepads! For a 15 minute invis buff???

This seems more than a little excessive. I would've expected the empowerment stations to use basic salvage, not crafted components.

Sorry, but this is freaking silly. Someone earlier asked if having Salvage storage would help the situation at all...I have a level 33 Corruptor who has never used a Worktable at all and has not capped out on even one type of Salvage so far. Not even those stupid little Echips or Orichulchums(or whatever), which sometimes seem to drop like candy.
No, the fact that you can store salvage is simply not going to make this workable.
Can someone confirm the fact you can create HOs?
Villian-side?

WHAT you can make Hami-0s...
I have a 44 blaster who's played in SG mode since level 34 or so, and my one-player SG only just now got a worktable going to refine the 20 titanium he's had for a level or so. It'll take another marathon play session or two to afford a better table to make the higher level components, or I could just get an Empowerment Station and not need the worktable until I can afford teleporters and stuff.
I'd say a widget that lets you refine salvage on the cheap is useful for small supergroups, even if it happens to have other uses that are only valuable in raids.
What makes me laugh is that the devs intended these to be utilities for small SGs, yet the costs for making these buffs amount to more salvage than 4 players can gather at once. Seems like alot of teamwork to give a single person a mildly decent buff.
If somebody in my sg wasted that much salvage on a 15 min. buff......they would be homeless.
I think somebody is smoking crack in the design department.

If I'm in a small supergroup which cannot afford a worktable, why do I care if I can refine salvage?
This simply makes no sense whatsoever.
A simple inspiration: 50 influence. A "Smashing Resistance" buff: 11 Material, 11 Power. Being the leader of a small supergroup with thoughts of throwing himself into traffic: Priceless.
In my SG we're going to only install the arcane version of the enhancement station (we're a Tech SG) and tell players that they can use up all of their arcane salvage on all of the buffs they want, but the Tech salvage is for the SG.
Granted, that means only one buff every 5-10 levels or so, but isn't that the point of these things? They're designed to soak up the excess salvage in the market, not to actually give the players something useful. IMHO, they'd be more effective at soaking up salvage if they were a lot cheaper (one or two tech powers/materials for most things, maybe a hardware/software for the big buffs) since people would actually use them if they didn't cost an arm and a leg.
Doing my best Mr. Smith impression...
"What good is a Hamidon enhancement, Mr. Anderson, if it doesn't buff your powers, by 30%?"
In other words, how much does the created Hammy-Os buff AND has anyone been to the universities yet? I totally forgot about them when I was running around. Maybe they have more fun things.
ALSO, the crafted Empowerment stations... Tier Two and Tier Three, do they make different Invention things? How much do they cost (prestige wise) to build? Do they take power? Control?

Given that the items you can make with the Power/Material/Hardware/Foci/whatever are mostly much more expensive than the worktable, you're right, it was a silly notion.
The Invention Tab, and Enhancement Test(2) creates from 5 Abberant Tech, and 2 Amulet ...
wait for it
... a level 10 (well thats what it created for me) Damage/Accuracy Hamidion Origin Enhancement ...
I'm not sure whether its bugged ... because my character is level 50 ... or whether it was supposed to create it at that level ...
