Well, before the retail box we'll get I7, I8, and I9. Since the box will be released in 2007, I9 could come out early that year... but it might also come out in 2006.

All of this stuff sounds really exciting... I'm going to go out on a limb and say we're heading for a Space type expansion, almost certainly involving the Rikti Homeworld.

I doubt they will release more than one Epic AT at a time. I'm guessing we'll see Coralax in I9 (since we pretty much know what they are, and the art is already done), and then maybe a CoH/CoV Epic for the expansion.

2 Years Already!!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY.
Thank you, Cryptic! Thank you NCSoft! These 2 years have been a blast. No other MMO have I consistantly been interested in from Beta to this point in their history. My main, Thrillseeker, is level 48 now, and my Girlfriend's main hit 50 last night (She did it in eleven months!... and I've been working on it for 2 years! - damn alt-aholicism I have).
While I had some worries when Enhancement Diversity hit, it's all worked out and I am still having a blast. I look forward to crowding Pocket D on Guardian tonight.
Thank you again for a great game, and lets hope to see many more birthdays for this game to come.
(I really need to get a non-christmas icon....)

Hmm, not sure how I feel about a retail box expansion for CoH and CoV... seems like they are bowing to $ pressure and converging with the pay expansion model set by EQ and all those other games. But, it's too early to start griping before we know more.

I'm really, really looking forward to seeing what the results of that poll turn into once you guys get done with it. I'm /dying/ for some more Story Stuff(tm) - the rockin' storyline is a big part of what keeps me here.

Another dib in to thank everyone at Cryptic/NCSoft, along with Cuppa, Posi, States, etc. for a fabulous gaming experience over the past 2 years. When I picked up the CoH retail box back in April of '04, I never thought I'd still be playing 3-4 hours a night in April of '06. Here's to those 2 years, and hoping to repost this in April of '08.

would be nice to finally see the return of Hero1 also.. and of course if not some underwater to the point of going swimming underwater not a submarine.... and have some fights underwater with a nice system called breath meter....we aren't aquaman...lol...

That was the most exciting address I've read from the devs. Go Positron!! And grats on two years. If even half of what's in that address comes to pass, I'll be here at least two more!

Well, the Epic ATs that have been alluded to are:
Incarnate
Avilan
Coralax
Blood of the Black Stream
Coralax and Blood both sound like they would be CoV Epic ATs, while Incarnate (what Statesman and Recluse are) might be both, and Avilans (winged people) sounds like good guys.
