  1. Hi Im new to the corruptor scene and basically I was searching for some guides and tips on how they work... and I so far couldn't find any info on the corruptor boards... can any of you guys give me hand on finding info and builds for this powerset...

    Well, before the retail box we'll get I7, I8, and I9. Since the box will be released in 2007, I9 could come out early that year... but it might also come out in 2006.

    All of this stuff sounds really exciting... I'm going to go out on a limb and say we're heading for a Space type expansion, almost certainly involving the Rikti Homeworld.

    would be nice to finally see the return of Hero1 also.. and of course if not some underwater to the point of going swimming underwater not a submarine.... and have some fights underwater with a nice system called breath meter....we aren't aquaman...lol...

    My point was most of the posters who argued with me seemed to defend the fact that one shoting a hero( or villain depending your side) who was already almost dead was fun, just because it's PvP and they could do it.

    Your opinion is a relief to me, and I finaly see that some PvPers are not griefers.

    by the way I do not point out that one shotting is not cool and all but if that is the stalkers only chance of survival he should use since if he fights in a "fair" fight he will get creamed with no question asked.. just like me.. and I find that appealling since it takes guts and intelligence to use this evil AT ( not saying that people are dumb but i met my share of them).

    Remember Rez and teleport were changed to these power being abused.

    I am sure that circumstances like this are going to happen in a PvP enviroment.

    I think the concern is that there was a very limit amount of time to test pvp, there are a ton of issues that need to be addressed, not just the one above. Areas were player can blast and not be targeted from, WoW was still fixing some of these areas 6 months after that game released.

    I don't dislike playing PvP. COH is trying a good attempt at a fair system. It will be interesting to see how fast nerf happen when someone figures a good set of powers. It will interesting to see the x is killing y screams. The stalker is already being set-up as the pvp please nerf me poster child.

    [/ QUOTE ]As you described holding the opponent the whole time even if theylog out and in... yes now thats griefing since you completly abusing the use of your role to halt completly his fun is griefing as well to use your stalker to stealth kill that same player over and when he obviuosly didn't attack anyone( this one could be the hardest since we are consenting to be attacked) or simply insult ya for no reason( suggested to report him so he doesn't cause anymore problems).

I think when in this case wich is my own problem is that players like stalkers will try to manhunt people like a sport and making such acts of relentless hunts to a specific type/lvl/AT beacuse they are to there eyes weaker makes them happy to destroy them time after time will cause one of the greatest griefings in this system but as said before griefing can't be define as a solid way since griefing can be killing a person just 2 times and that person is so mad just for that he will just say his greifing just to get you out of his life... I would most likely suggest to report such acts to have more than 1 witness to report such acts against player of our community. ( demmands 5 star for long talk and a chocolate cookie.)

    [/ QUOTE ]its a good point this tactics mentioned are for blasters only since scraps have a different playing style than blasters for scrapps normally I have been thinking of tactics with there sec effects in there powers especially with MA.. well as before blaster are more tactical base instead of the scrapps and tanks.

    A true fact stated by some of the other post our best defense is a offensive one.... if if there are other tactics like divide and conquer, trapped in the spider's web and a few more are in the arsenal of the blasters at any time it doesn't take slot nor power slot: meaning that the blaster greatest asset as well as the controller is there mind we to call in tactics and have patience is like you were given a sniper rifle and you had 2 options ( wait patiently for the right moment or shoot everytime you just have him close to ya and hoping to blow his brains out). I see much more potential in the blaster than just shooting and killing, think plan stalk and pounce on your enemy with them knowing( terain like buildings are the best ya know)with that said its true scrapps are better in sytanding a fight sure I admitt that and as well as tank at tanking( the name saids it all people) we need our mezz protection and our resistance but that doesn't make blaster useless its more like a controller just with particle cannon and less crowd control for the insane dmg....( I bet your saying Im talking crap right? be honest with me).

    [/ QUOTE ] I can agree with that more hp and extra protection I found it real fair even for me beacuse as the above post punch the lights out of me and Im still regaining concience( that hurt man) the extra range doesn't help in indoor mishes and blaster need there human shields for that..sigh..no one is happy these days... I think state should give more health some protection at least 30% of scrapps,fair
    you should also recieve that highest dmg cap of the game but still you should still be squishies( no offense people) just with a extra resistence and maybe some extra recharge on your powers but that would go a little overboard there hehe.

    6. Swap the damage caps of blasters and scrappers.

    7. Remove the rooting effect from blaster attacks.

    8. Faster activation times on powers for blasters.

    9. Making level 32 nukes into more useable AoE powers like Head Splitter or Full-Auto and less situational all end consuming powers.

    Just my thoughts on where I would like blasters to go.

    [/ QUOTE ] Okay heres when stupiditty shows his face,( swaping dmg caps) that just plain stupid I admmit blaster dmg dmg cap is lower than scrapps but theres a good reason why, scrapps are frotline fighters, and blaster stay on there sofa chair throwing power until the run away warning.You got to admitt that most of the time your safe and sound( I know that your feel not contributing to the group) but in my experience I find blaster can be more helpful if they last longer and the devs just make there attacks a little stronger( not swaping dmg cap beacuse thats kinda outrageous especially with scrapps that are losing there defenses and some are just broken) in the end as a scrapp and tank I still approved of the extra dmg upgrade and a little more defense( not defense cap of scrapps totally( universal meaning of defense BTW))

    Of course Im always willing to join with any blaster no matter there build( eng not against it but a little problematic for me) good luck getting a better defenses and attack power(no swaping!)

    Now, let me clarify the situation with Badges and Defeat tasks. As long as you or any of your teammates are within 200 ft. of the defeated mob, EVERYONE on the team gets credit. This is not a change in Issue 4; this is the way that it currently works.

    [/ QUOTE ] states that a great idea but the death counter should be rise to 4 minutes since it may get in a ugly situation where that person won't be able to awake or be revived even for there hard work then he'll get pissed since he work so much and just for 1 min dead he doens't get xp well that a unhappy costumer.( please correct if what I said is wrong).
