One question, will the next retail box be an Stand-a-lone Expansion or an Expansion pack that one has to have either City of Heroes or City of Villains to use, or has that been determined as of yet?

WOOT!! So any idea what the epic ATs will be for CoV? Also can we expect this with I7 or will it be later this year with I8/instore box?
I'm surprized to hear that City of Legends (or whatever) won't be seen until next year but its great to know that the poll everyone took part in is influencing the next retail expansion. I did hear you guys didn't want to do another full retail game so expansions did seem like a better idea. I do hope that the Arctic zone is what won the poll however it does seem that the Rikti homeworld was the major contendor and would be a nice topic for the expansion and the on-going story.
Glad to see the devs are now focussing on true content rather than features. Issue 8 sounds like it'll be a real boon to the series and I can't wait for the veteran rewards as it gives me a reason to dust off Tal-N after all this time and send him into the fray again.
Is Statesman still going to be around ?

Well, before the retail box we'll get I7, I8, and I9. Since the box will be released in 2007, I9 could come out early that year... but it might also come out in 2006.

All of this stuff sounds really exciting... I'm going to go out on a limb and say we're heading for a Space type expansion, almost certainly involving the Rikti Homeworld.

Does this mean that there will be an issue focussed on new powersets and a new EAT, or that those things will be in the new retail box in 2007?
Also, I hope any new retail box will give us more slots per server in the same fashion as CoV.
