Well...........I have no spandex, but I do have tight boxer shorts (black---so Warface color). Maybe I can fashion a cape from my bedsheet. Then again the MPs might get me.

If I am going to do this I must preplan.

I think I will pop some Kimshee inspirations and make a timed run at the building.

  7. There are so many petition links.

This one seems like a good one, not sure what it will do. I signed everyone I could find.

    The Last Day.

Ill move my toons to Protector tonight. Warface and Septimus bane, ready to team with all of you.
  9. Signed up! Might as well get one last one from old Warface

  10. For the friends I made here over the last 8 years, PM me if you want my email. I am at a loss for words. This game became my family, and sometimes took time away from my real family. I know its just a game, but I sacrificed so much for this place, it leaves a big hollowness inside now.

    I will miss Protector.

When they worked the same, my EM/Invuln Brute was .......very....... very mean to everyone in RV. I actually giggled like a schoolgirl most days from the sheer enjoyment.

Then the N hammer hit his head, as it should have been (though a smaller hammer would have sufficed)...

    Tank Mage i24?

What I was looking at was KM as a secondary (Repulsing Torrent, and Focused Burst) with Energy Mastery (Laser Beam Eyes, and Energy Torrent). Mix in the two ranged attacks from the Sorcery Pool and you have a set of six ranged attacks.

Question, would this be a good fit for a character that has a similar feel for Iron Man, and how playable would this be?
For tank mage, I recommend a claws brute .....(regen, willpower, invuln all okay) but with the MU for your Patron power.... two good ranged attacks there you can slot heavy, add a flying MU striker pet even better, then add Nem staff and a Blackwand......you have 3-6 good ranged attacks.

    Why?

    1. According to the developers the base code is an unholy monstrosity and any attempts to change it tend to end up breaking stuff (like base defenses being hostile to you a few issues back).

    2. The developer that created the base code failed to document what he was doing, and he no longer works for NCSoft.

This has left the devs unwilling to do anything at all to bases except the least amount possible to maintain the feature as it is.

None of the players are happy about this.
Wow, that sucks. I still like the idea to keep the base ASIS to not break code, and create a new improved system on the side (with new base portal entrances chooseable by the SG)

    A. Leave the current base mess as is. Don't touch it. Don't change it. Leave the Jenga on fire as it is.
    B. Create a new system along side the old legacy system. Create a way to use both. (make any new SGs only have access to the new system.)

This would allow two things. One, no one would lose anything from the original base, and would have the ability resell bits and pieces off while regaining prestige. This would also allow time to move storage items from the old base to the new base. Maybe create a way to convert legacy base items into new base items. Akin to how you can convert base salvage into brainstorms.

Mind you, I really don't think this would ever happen, but there you go.
I think that is absolutely the best way to go about this.

    Zone PVP: Check
    Gladiator Arena PVP: Check
Base Raid: Check (andddd on hold)

They have hit every PVP area so far (regardless of imbalances, bugs, etc.) Dev time is not only in short supply but ideas must be floated up and down the chain of command and decisions made (from managers) to turn into game reality.

    That said........

Would love to have an arena event (similar to glad system) where you can play AS.....Giant Monsters.

You get the GM arena badge in game by defeating one (say adamastor for example), opening the slot. You select the GM and play in the arena against other player or gasp..computer....GMs. Nothing better than being an E Coli or Jack in Chains and stomping around the battlefield fighting Kronos. Just for giggles I would put the destructable cars and such on the map.

    Anyway......just a thought.

    Elec/Stone Brute

Does well at PVE. However, I am looking for a math wizard to help me balance this a bit better and improve weakness. Yes he is Frakenslotted from hell. What would you change for balance? Also keep in mind, mids didnt let me show (or I couldnt figure out how) to show that sets and IOs are +5 everywhere possible with enhancement boosters.

  20. If it hasn't been asked of yet: The town in Cimerora, and the FULL maps of the Fortress and the Island with the Sister Solaris temple (From the cave port with the ship, up to the temple itself.)
  21. I think I finally realized whats wrong with the AE capabilities.

Yes..yes, specific mob placement, editable maps, on and on would be nice. Things like that, however, are simply cosmetic.

After finishing essentially what amounts to a 12 mission task force I have been creating, I realized what the AE is truly missing after playing it over and over for months trying to get my AE arcs right.

It's the story and the way its told. And by that I dont just mean the grammar, storyline.............although those things are important.

With the leader being the only one reading the intro dialogue.........that's problematic enough.

MOST, if not all....people miss the important dialogue within the mission itself. Some of that information is critical (especially when the dialogue is meant to overcome limitations in the editor).

THE AE needs to fix this using one of two methods (or both...devs willing)

    1. Just as in Task Forces, we need specific dialogue that flashes IN FRONT of your screen to be put in at any point we deem. This way the team doesnt miss it in their rambling chat windows.

    2. Mini-movie creator. I know its been debated........but it is vital if we are to tell stories. It is critical at key points.

IF YOU DO THIS............the sky is the limit and you will see teams actually playing the AE OVER and over for GREAT content rather than just farming.

Just my thoughts...hope something like this is down the road.
