PVP zone related badges (text bugged)
Reinforcement - Clear a PvP zone mission to buff your side.
[/ QUOTE ]
VVolf - Thanks for all the work.
Small error - The Reinforcement badge is for offing 20 heroes in a PvP zone. I got it a couple nights ago!
[/ QUOTE ]
No, re read what he wrote. The text description (or the award conditions) of PvP badges are bugged. That badge may say kill 20 players, but you don't need to do that to get the badge. He is correct when he says completing a mission of that type grants the badge.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, I did my first PvP zone mission with my toon last night and got Agent Provacateur. Two nights ago I killed a guy with Assassin's Claw and received the Reinforcement Badge.
I immediately sent a message to my SG due to my excitement. I remember precisely how I got the badge and it was before I had ever stepped foot in a PvP zone mission. I don't know much about text bugs, but I do know exactly what I got and when.
I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, just saying that the text on my badge matches my accomplishment and is appropriate to what I was doing at the time.

Catching ghosts is quite tricky when you are overleveled (they are gray cons). I would say anything beyond 15ft or so from the trap wouldn't count, but that's just my approximation. We had the best luck with a Brute with Taunt.
They need to come up with some sort of effect or marker that shows when ghost will count. Would be nice to see a blinky effect around a ghost when he's in range, and then you know it's good.
[/ QUOTE ]
There is actually a sign that you have captured a ghost successfully. Normally when the ghosts die, they kind of hang there in mid-air and disappear. When you defeat a ghost near the trap successfully, you'll see a green light fly from the corpse of the ghost, into the trap and the trap will shoot out a green-ish haze out from the center of it. Also, to note, when you trap a ghost, sometimes the trap will go bonkers and green-ish light will spew out everywhere, causing a group of lvl 10-15 ghosts to spawn around the trap.
This spawn includes minions, Lts, Bosses, and an Elite Boss ghost. Just be forewarned when this happens. Trying to do this in a group of 3-4 at level 10-12 is very difficult, if not impossible. I took my MM back at around level 20 and laid waste and got both badges in about 90 minutes.
I have fishies (saving thread so I can find it later)

You misunderstand. I don't want to know when a ghost counted, I am well aware of what happens after a successful capture already. I want to know when a ghost will count, so I know when to open fire without having to guess.
It's often tricky enough to lead a ghost to a trap, and the height of frustration when you hit him and he's only a couple of feet farther from trap radius than you need.

Not sure how exact this is, but I noticed after I had already gotten the History Badge, "Lorekeeper", this was after I had gone to all the historical plaques. I got that badge, but later I went and checked the plaques in Cap Du Diablo again, in a different order, and I received a second historical badge, "Technofreak". I started with the plague at the PTS, then hit the plaque at the bottom of Mt. Diablo, then I went to the Plaque at near the egghead badge marker. Then I went to the one in Devil's Coat Tail's. If you do that, you should get the badge. I got it on two toons doing that.
I read it on a site that for being in Siren's Call for 5 hours that you get a badge called Siren's Song or something, which is what I'm really looking forward to.
Though, I have spent alot of time there, most of the time I just stand there, and unfortunately I haven't gotten it yet. Do you think I have to fight in order to get it or does just being there count in these types of badge situations?
For my hero (as well as the Bloody Bay one), I just had to be there.
Not sure if its consecutive or not- the Siren's call one didn't seem to be, but I didn't risk it with Bloody bay.
One thing to note, you won't get teh badge when you've been there 5 hours, but rather after you log back in.
I got both badge while logging back in inside of said zones- maybe you can only get if if you've been in said zones 5 hours, consecutive or not, then log back in while inside the zone?

Oops...sorry about that. This would be nice, some form of marking or something to denote when they are close enough to be captured. By my guess, it's probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-30 ft. from the trap.
The big pain is the ghosts running away and then having to wait for them to come back, if they ever come back.

At least for Siren's Call, you can't ever leave the zone; no zoning into another zone, nor zoning into the door missions. You can log off, but you must be in Siren's when you do log off.
After ~5 hours of accumulative time in there, on your next log into the zone, you should get the badge.
Hopefully this is bugged both in the sense of having to re-log in to get the badge and for the "can't ever leave zone" aspect.
I've already forgotten about most of you

Well, with some practice you will figure out how close they need to be. They don't need to be right over the trap...they can be maybe 10 feet away. It does seem to matter where they end up when disapear as using knockback attacks can take them out of the trap zone. Grr.
And the contact, as has been stated, clearly only unlocks half her missions after you get the badges if you have outleveled.
I have all of the SG Beacon Badges, but could use some help on the SG healing badges.
I have the first one started, but I can't seem to get my progress bar moving. I have been teaming with svg members only but it still does not seem to help. And we definitely do a lot of healing on each other. We also have been playing in sg mode from day one. I already have my personel first healing badge...
Any help with the trick on this badge would be greatly appreciated... I need the SG healing badges to unlock the medical tab for my base options.
Also try this website out for badge info. I found it very useful on getting explorations badges,

Has anyone CoV side had any luck with the mentor badges (Comrade, Drill Instructor, Svengali)? I have tried LKing a SG member for over 8 hours and a non SG member for over 8 hours and still nothing on both. I was able to get the SG mentoring badge during the time I had the SG member LKed.
I haven't seen any info on the Hammerhead badge in this thread yet. In this thread there is a little talk about it as well as Goon Squad (which I've read somewhere is bugged). The important part regarding the Hammerhead badge is this:
[ QUOTE ]
Hammerhead is only 100 Scrapyarders, but they MUST be from the groups that follow Ghost of Scrapyard around. They're considered "special" Scrapyarders or something. There is also a Strike Buster badge for beating 100 regular Scrapyarders (which is in turn different from the Strikebuster mission badge).
[/ QUOTE ]
I just got the badge today. I can't verify the number, but I can confirm that it was the "special" scrappyarders that follow Ghost of Scrapyarder around, also the ones that will run for a door once Ghost of Scrapyarder is no longer around. I was wuppin' up on some of 'em for the fun of it, and after a bit I was badged (as was my teammate).
Haven't seen it posted yet, but TechnoFreak is now working (History badge). The plaques seem to be only those in Cap au Diable (specifically the one by the tailor, the one by the university and the one in the power station). Thought I had all of those, but went back on the recommendation of a friend, clicked on the tailor one and got the badge.
I tried looking, but I came upon an issue with the Legacy Chain gladiator badge.
I had a VG Mate with Ember Legacy of Flame Gladiator, but I didn't have it. All the badge sites I found said Legacy Flame minions. I still get plenty of those, however after some 6 missions still no badge. I checked with my VG Mate he said he had it before reaching CAD level. The only Legacy Chain minion I wasn't getting in my missions were the Legacy of Steel. I joined another VG Mate in one of his early Legacy Chain missions with plenty of Legacy of Steel minions. I got the badge about half-way thru.
I am a Stalker and was just breezing thru missions without taking on every minion. I wanted to clarify that I've definately taken out plenty of Legacy Chain minions while getting no badge. I am very confident in saying its specifically Legacy of Steel - Legacy Chain minions.

Any confirmation on the numbers of Blue Coralax Hybrids yet?
I have the first mentoring badge and half of my progress bar on my second, at least one other person that I team with on a regular basis has the second one as well.

Is there a trick to the Electrician badge? I've defeated about 130 gremlins including Deathsurge and still don't have the badge.

[/ QUOTE ]The day I decided to get this badge, I counted 119 gremlins defeated and Deathsurge before I got this badge. I had killed a few before that day, but I would have thought 10 at most which puts me right around your total. So I don't know why you don't have it yet. =/
Just did the Gremlin/Electrician badge slaughter, and recieved both badges at around the 120th Gremlin defeated, so the '100' description is off or the badge is slightly bugged but it's still doable, I'm pleased to say.
I didn't touch Deathsurge, waiting till he's unbugged to bother with him.

I keep seeing a listing on websites for a "ColdHearted" Badge.
Its for killing 250 fire demons which are suppose to be CoT. I have never seen or heard of a fire demon before.
