    You're correct. The temp power received for defeating the boss at the bank is a once per zone award. The temp powers received for raiding the villian hangout are random and range across both CoH and CoV (for instance, I got the wave scrambler from one of the Clockwork arcs in one MM). And unlike other temp powers, these are actually useful (the cryobracers I received were successfully used to take out an EB Numina my normal SS-powers were barely touching, did something on the order of 300-500 dmg each shot).
    The Founder's Falls MM (lvl 40-45) has had all 5 missions (plus bank) every time I've done it, good place to farm the badges and temp powers. For those trying to farm a lower-lvl MM with fewer missions, find one with the mission you want and use the reset trick to farm it. The missions reset, but the types don't. When you tire of it, just complete the bank.

    how many do you have to take out before you get a bar? i have destroyed many cars with both of my toons i have been playing these with(about 6-7 each), a couple trucks, almost every cop i have run across, every vault door, etc... im not expecting to have the badge by now or anything but the progress bar to see how close i am like all the other badges that are defeat X mobs, take X hp, etc...
    usualy stuff like it is take out 1 to get the listing for the badge in the list and then the next starts the progress bar, or so i thought...

    I never saw any bars for the 5 MM achieve badges, they just awarded out of the blue (sort of). Just keep up the destruction, they'll come eventually. I think the cars one is 100-150 and make sure you're the one doing the damage to to objects, not having them destroyed by the explosion of something else (i.e. parking meters).
  3. Ran several Mayhem missions last night (10 total, using the reset trick). The badges for vaults and arsons require 10 sub-missions (5 for the vaults if you also do the bank vault, but then you can't reset the mission). I got the cars badge on about my 4th mission in Founder's (that handy little parking lot is great for getting about 20 cars). Got the destroy objects badge on the 6 or 7th iteration. Still haven't gotten the cops badge, only one I'm missing.
    All said, I wound up with 4 of the 5 achievement badges, 1 explore badge, 10 lvl 43 SOs (I'm lvl 40, and they were all recharge), and 10 temp powers (Med Kit, Cryobracers, web grenade, stun grenade, wave inducer (special damage to Clockwork), Life Insurance, Claymore, Kinetic Shield, Cryonic Armor, and a Heavy Rock). Not a bad night's work...
  4. Okay, not sure if this is the place to gripe about the arachnoids, but give me a break, the regen rate on these things is better then my regen scrapper gets without integration. The EB you run into in Dobb's second storyarc is unkillable due to his insane regen rate (not to mention the mission fail bug when he 'runs'). Hopefully this will be toned down before it goes live. I don't want to have to pull a full team of 8 -regeners just to take out an EB on villianous diff.
  5. Apparently the zone you get to do your mayhem in depends on the lvl range of the contact you receive it from. I got mine from the guy in Grandvill (name escapes me) and it was in Founders (makes sense, FF is a lvl 40 zone). I'll try it again probably tonight to see if I get the same zone (I hope so, I missed the Anarchist badge while I was there last time).
  6. I believe not. If you're a villian, they spawn in large quantities in Grandville. If you're a hero, I believe I saw a few of them in RV.
  7. I know to capture a heavy you have to click on the control panel outside the pad when a heavy has spawned on it, brings up the standard interuptable countdown bar. On completion you get a pet window (standard MM controls) and the pet starts following you around. The one time I was able to do it, got a Toxic Tarantula, though I promptly lost it while trying to escape the 30+ heroes trying to gank me.
  8. Were you in Founders with the Crey (and Hellions) or another zone? It might be zone specific (or at least be mobs that normally appear in those zones).
  9. Did a MM last night (Founders). Reduced my diff to Villianous and brought a lvl 40 MM with me (also villianous). My char was a SS/EA brute.
    Mob size was small (thanks to villianous), no significant problems dealing with them. Non-PPD mobs were DE, usually a Greater Devoured and 2 Bladegrass. We started just destroying everything for bonus time, did the vault heist and the building bombing, did the bank with 20 minutes+ remaining. Hero ambush was an lvl 40 EB (Cacophony, Sonic Blaster(possibly Defender) type). Took her out easily, along with the Spec-Ops that joined her. Also ran into a Longbow Officer and PPD Assault, no real problems. Temp power on completion was Life Insurance (2 days of Debt Protection). Finished all the missions and map clearing with ~9 minutes remaining.
    Also got badge placeholders for vehicles destroyed, vaults destroyed, PPD defeated, and buildings burned. No explore badge for FF, does anyone know if these exist and, if so, are they location specific or for entering the zone (i.e. Multidimensional on CoH)?

    Overall impression: Most fun I've had in CoX in a long time, can't wait to do it again.
  10. There is a SG beacon badge for Grandville, our temp SG got it yesterday.
  11. Overlord explore badge in Grandville is on the NE corner of the map, just off the beach, on top of the bunker (don't have the exact coords on me at the moment).
  12. I can confirm plaque in Bloody Bay, as well as Swashbuckler history badge. The plaque is at 604, 0, -151, NW corner of the brick building, on the western facing wall by the steps. Text talks about two female pirates. Combined with the plaques in PO, Sirens, and Shark gives Swashbuckler.
  13. Badge descriptions on the 'die' badges are incorrect. Those are the new debt-repayment badges introduced in I6 (if I remember correctly), same as the further mentoring and inf badges. As far as I know, there are no badges for # of deaths (otherwise I'd have at least 1 of them).
  14. It's not number of deaths, it's debt-repayment, and since you don't earn any debt from PVP kills, no repayment, hence no badge.
  15. Speaking of new patch changes, apparently history badges now have a progress bar. Started a new char (wanted to fly around Breakout), clicked through my badges, nothing in history. Clicked on the plaque in Mercy beside Mongoose, looked at history again and found a progress bar about 1/4 full. It progressed further when I clicked on the plaque in PO beside the ferry, so it's definitely a progress bar for Lorekeeper. Now, I wonder if the other history badges have bars also (will have to check next time I'm on).

  17. There are also two locations up on the ridge at the north end of the city (above the candy factory). I basically just did a round through all 5 while I was passing through CaD, got it eventually (not really anything to worry about, no lvl-specific content depends on it that I'm aware of).
  18. Haven't seen it posted yet, but TechnoFreak is now working (History badge). The plaques seem to be only those in Cap au Diable (specifically the one by the tailor, the one by the university and the one in the power station). Thought I had all of those, but went back on the recommendation of a friend, clicked on the tailor one and got the badge.
  19. Tarxius is definitely Lore Keeper. I did his missions at 25, no Weed Whacker, just Lore Keeper.
  20. They're all over, especially Marconeville. Check building tops and alleyways also. Easy way to find them is at night, look for the red glow of their Leadership-effect (think it's Assault). Just make sure it's a Marcone Capo. There are also Mook Capos, don't think they count (same with Consigliere and Underboss).
  21. Badge is 'Destined One', it's the same thing as VIP in CoH (bonus for buying the special edition CoH), they just changed the name and badge text.
  22. I can also confirm Soul Binder is working in CoV. Easy to get by wiping out madness, energy and life mages in PO around the fort.
  23. Apparently not. I got all 4 while in SG mode, no beacon. Same with Siren's Call (makes sense, since most people aren't going to want to travel through PVP zones if they can help it).
  24. I'm pretty sure it's wardens and bosses. I think I've found the bar for it, will have to wait and see I guess. As for Gangbuster, it's definitely Marcone Capos. I found the bar for it, it only advances after Capo kills, not minion or lt kills.
  25. There's one more in Sharkhead that you'll need for Loremaster (right beside the ferry in the parking lot). As for the other history badges, I'm wondering if we're missing some plaques in Mercy (awful big island to only have 1 plaque).
