Dunno why you guys are all excited... Statesman and his laggies (not a typo: you pronounce it "lackey," I'll pronounce it "laggy") are just gonna mapserve your butts, then pound you into submission. The guy's an ex-crook; he's not going to play straight. He'll win by any means, fair or foul. (I hear he's learned a new move: the Synapse Bowl.)

As far as I understand it from reading the CoV beta boards and DEV posts, the NPC heroes, i.e. Statesman, Synapse, etc will be setup the same as Monsters. In other words they will be +2 to all player levels so they will be equally challenging to any toon at any level...which is pretty cool IMO. The content won't be limited to just the high lvl beta toons.

Just curious, Mr. Emmert. Will statesman be played on the same i5/i6 scale as other inv/ss tanks since nerfs? Or will he be a souped up version beyond what our tanks could ever achieve since nerfs?

oH, and anyone know what time this will all go down? I so want to be there to see the big man get down. It's what i've always wanted in coh having statesman and his merry band available to pair up with in special events or to be able to be part of a large story where u can earn the privilege of interacting with Mr. One n Only. Sweet stuff!

I'd love a response to this.

unfortunately they haven't announced the start time yet. if you're in CoV beta just keep an eye on the "Important News and Updates" section for more info. If you're not in beta....well then you're S.O.L

Anyone knows what time is the Statesman's Strike? I'm asking the time cause i'm in europe and if it will be around 10:00 pm central (just an exemple) it will be 4:00 am here . I realy would like to know the time cause i work next day and so that i can get some sleep a do the event also.

I say We get all The MM we can find and have them charge in there pets. Seeing roughly 500 Zombies,mercs,robots, And ninjas running at the hero jerks would be great...Course then they will all get shot down by freedom Phalanx

Well, here's a fair question to go along with this, then. Are us villains also going to have a human-controlled Lord Recluse at your backs? Seems unthinkable that he'd just sit up in his ivory tower while Statesman himself is invading his island. There's a time for sending in your expendible minions to do your dirty work, and there's a time to step in and make sure things are done right yourself.

For us of very low level auto-SK does little to help us. A level 10 SK'd to 40 is not a levl 40. Assuming this is what you were talking about.

Ok, two things. Two sad, sad statements.

Tanks are fine, if you don't believe me I'll show you the ones I play with. If I can tank 6 +2s and live to complain about it with my 'underpowered' sloting(he's an invun tank mind you) I don't think you've got ground to stand on for that one.

And it isn't that friggen bad. Try it before you complain. And I don't mean on invincible, I mean on the real level the game was originally made for. You'll be fine.My blaster is actually better after ed, I can finally take bosses one on one.
