what time is it? and will the Heros con to the zone? I mean it'd be kinda stupid if the heros were fighting at lvl 50 in Mercy island...
Perhaps each Hero can lead an attack on a zone thats even with their TF?

Humm, this leads to the obvious question of, Is Zeb Cook playing Lord Recluse? And are the other devs playing their respective heroes/villains too?

It's on the CoV beta server, prior to launch. CoV has a level cap of 40.
I know... I'm just to used to playing in CoH where your try to get 50... but still the question remains. will all the hero's be conning at forty?

Well, if they enter the regular zones, I'm guessing they'll be something like AV's at the top level for each zone. Like 6 for Mercy and such. The PvP zones everybody is sk'ed/ex'ed to the same level.
If I remember the stories about the Rikti Invasion, they were at the top level for each zone they were in... I think it'll be like that, except... we're post-purple patch. 
There's going to be so many people on. I wonder if it will be like, I'll be waiting in Mercy 18 with a bunch of other villains and see a GM say, "Statesman just got done slaughtering all the villains in Mercy 3. We're trying to get the everyone. Thanks for your patience."
Meanwhile, Broadcast will just get flooded with...

I just meant on the basis of story arc. A few days later CoV is released and the Breakout 'officially' begins for everyone and The Zig and possibly surround areas in Brickstown are given the smackethdown. I just wondered if a counter strike across Paragon would be made by Arachnos to tie it in. I'm probably missing out on something seeing as I've been off the game a bit lately.

We can rezz at our bases, if we have them and if we've built medical stations there. And we can teleport from our bases to other zones, if we have telepads.
Blockading the hospitals won't work this time.

This I have always wondered, can I get a shot at the nerf god of CoH in an arena or will I have to wait to see him as a nemesis in CoV.
Either way, he has cute and clever comments but never will play us on equal ground because he is just a comic book hero and as we all know ya can't fight pen and paper or as in this place, text at a board!!!
Honestly a dev without programing tricks is just a fish in the water.
So States I will be there and battle you with my nerfed down version of a scrapper and I hope that at least you can fight as much as you ego is. Because I can only do what you allowed me to do within this game and to beat you will be just joy, but we all know you will CHEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW Silly isn't it, my CoV char is a lvl 12 and you will be using a lvl 50 at the least I bet.
I say we do something even tricker and have no one show up just to show them how disgusted we are with them

You apparently have never seen a Dev toon at a event like when PVP was being tested. They basicly have ALL power sets. Statesman will probably be like level 54 or something and be able to run all the defenses he hasnt gutted from accrossed all the sets. So expect a (pre issue 3)Instanthealing, (preissue 2)invulnerability scrapper with a sprinkling of super reflexes, running perma unstoppable, lightform MOG and elude. And probably just to add insult to injury he will be running Oppressive gloom for the squishies.
Keep in mind were all supose to die, the server is getting wiped out for the prelaunch weekend and all new villians.

You HAVE seen him deal over two thousand points of damage in one hit in the Vs. Tyrant mission, haven't you? We're talking about a guy who one-shots Rikti battle cruisers.
Don't think you're gonna be able to put a mez on this guy, either. XD

Similar has been said of Hamidon too... yet we can still mez him with our high level heroes. I believe that if we can get enough Dominators together to mez him, we can have our Brutes, Stalkers, & Corrupters take out Statesman while the Masterminds stand back and provide melee/ranged fire support.
I don't believe that States would be able to withstand the entire might of the villainous population. Besides, we have Lord Recluse on our side.
Let's do the math... Lord Recluse, Ghost Widow, Scirocco, Mako, Scorpian... plus well over 6000 villains...
VS
Statesman, Freedom Phalanx, and 2-4k Longbow (some of whom are actual mundane people, not heroes).
I don't see Statesman winning that. Heck, the last time States tried to assault Lord Recluse's base, everyone he took with him got spanked hard.
I'll bet 100k Infamy that Lord Recluse & his forces will reign supreme by night's end.

CoH/V: Woot! Maybe Fun is to be had once again.
