Quote:This just in: It's the year 2020.Ahh, such cheese, such delicious 30-year-old cheese. Man I miss that show.
Agreed. Frickin' loved'em. -

While I don't agree with the ridiculousness of tattling like that, I do have to point out that the rules quite clearly state that the anti-video game stance includes other NCsoft games.

Then you and I have seen entirely different Scott Pilgrim trailers, because none of that resembled Napoleon Dynamite, humor-wise.

In Short: A show with this amazing magician.
For Serious: It's a show about a family (and family business) that's best described as a sinking ship full of self-absorbed dillholes and one man trying to save it all. -

Quote:And how, exactly, is he loathesome? That's a term I'd reserve for someone like... Andy Dick.Putting aside that I've been told that the comic/graphic novel is filled with horrible art, even if I read and liked the graphic novel casting a loathsome person in a "loveable" role is Epic Failure.
Quote:I haven't seen anything particularly humorous in the trailers. However, if you're one of those people who thought Napolean Dynamite was hilarious then we're not on the same humour wavelength.
Quote:I didn't watch much of the show because what I did see of it left me completely uninterested in seeing more. -
About a year for games. Not because they take forever to finish, but because some people just can't get ahold of them in the first 3-6 months. If they couldn't afford it to begin with, it might actually take up to a year. So... yeah. Waiting a year is the safe bet.

That's right. And most games and movies are for women, 'cause dudes gotta fight bad dudes to get to a chick they have feelings for.

Quote:If you were awesome, you'd be seeing both. >(People keep going on about Expendables because "They are MEN." I'm choosing Scott Pilgrim because "I am AWESOME".
Quote:'Course, my girlfriend just confided in me her extreme love of Julia Roberts, so not really sure. Maybe Eat Pray Love is going to get a whirl. O.o -

They're about as awkward as one another, but I gotta say I don't see too much of a resemblance. One looks closer to a bird and the other is a Matt Smith Frankenstein's monster.

I'm going to see The Expendables, first.
1. I need a ridiculous action flick in my system, right now.
2. Much like what is demonstrated by you lot, everyone else is most likely going to go see Scott Pilgrim first. May as well take advantage of that. -

Quote:Given my current neighborhood, I always carry around my buddy. Cheap, but effective. These jackholes were actually trying to rob a place barehanded (threatened having a gun but not showing one = lying)? Freakin' morons. They are lucky they didn't get shanked. If I was there, they would have bled. Leatherman ftw.
