AOTS: Alison Haislip vs Olivia Munn

So with Olivia pretty much off the show and there being a permanent guest host...the guest host has been Alison... And I gotta say I prefer Alison as the cohost over Olivia... What do you think?

I like Olivia's complete lack of shame and willingness to do or say almost anything to get a laugh. Alison is pretty great, too, and if Olivia had to go, I'm happy with Alison as a replacement. Although I would also be happy to have them steal Morgan Webb away from X-Play since she is a lot of fun when she's on the air live.

I love how Olivia defiantly proclaimed she was never leaving AOTS and will be its permanent co-host at Comic-Con... followed by almost 3 straight weeks of guest hosts.

The amount of dirt Olivia has been flinging at G4 and most of her fans (by calling them all perverts and the like) has made me care less about her big time.

Out of all the guest hosts, Alison should get the bump up because she's been part of AOTS longer and has chemistry with Kevin and Hardwick and Chris Gore, but she isn't my favorite. Obviously I love when Morgan co-hosts since her and Kevin have, what, over 10 years of chemistry and Morgan always seems to bring a doe-eyed innocence to the proceedings. I also like Xbox 360 IGN girl Jessica Chobot when she has co-hosted as she seemed to be willing to go with the flow, could play off Kevin's improv, and obviously plays enough video games to get most of what they are talking about.

Whatever they do, they need to end this Olivia Munn thing in the bud. They don't even announce she's not on anymore, which makes all the background pictures of her and the bumpers/show open that much more awkward.

As much as I like the other choices I think Haislip is the best option, mainly cuz she actually seems interested in what is going on.

the cable company dropped g4 in my area a while ago, but i recall that after initially dismissing olivia as a model/actress just brought in to give frustrated nerds eye candy, she actually was very funny and likable. So I dont recall enough about allison to have an opinion, but olivia was(when i still could watch) a lot better than i thought. Now kevin still is a walking patch of chlamydia.

She's become VERY distracted lately with working on the Daily Show and pilots for sitcoms and such.

Whenever she does manage to get time to do the show that made her famous, she seems out of it, has no clue what is going on, responds to everything with "What?" and ultimately just spends the episode staring blankly into the camera rubbing her hair.

I wish I was making this up.

yeah, think i'd be happier if Olivia would just GO. But then, cute as she is, I've never been fond of her. Something about her is just always... off.

I haven't really been a fan of Olivia for a while now although I am not really sure why. Maybe she just seems overly full of herself or something. A minor thing I noticed through twitter that bugged me was that she would post links to news articles that she would place on her own site.

That'd be like Larry the Cable Guy giving interviews where he complained about his fan base being NASCAR fans.

Her book is just a mix of her own blog posts and ghostwritten passages.

She also threw a hissy fit to the publisher for being "forced" to dress up like Wonder Woman for the cover. In the same Vanity Fare interview, she compared herself to Tina Fey as a female comedic genius.

She's got an ego that's three times the size of Alison Haislip and almost no filter. She honestly believes people loved her on AOTS because of the funny off the cuffs she said and not her dressing up like Sailor Moon and flashing the camera or playing bobbing for hot dogs.
