That is good news so thanks Statesman. I've definitely gotten used to using either jumping or running in front of the running baddie. Martin, looking forward to how you will implement this new feature.

Wonderful! This was one of the most frustrating aspects of this game. Thank you.

Is there any chance this could be worked together with the "follow" command, so that follow allows us to catch up to runners? Slowly jogging behind a runner is really annoying Not to quote the competition, but the /stick command from Dark Age of Camelot has done this perfectly.

You know, I hate to rain on the parade, but...well, you know how sometimes a runner will jump off a building to get away from you? And how if you're really lucky, you can occasionally get an attack to connect while they're in mid-flight?

Well, if you were TRULY blessed, you were MA, and you used a Crane Kick as said final attack...

And the enemy would get knocked back while in mid-fall.

I will miss that, sincerely I will. Okay, actually it only happened once, but oh what a glorious sight it was.

I'm just messin' with ya, I too want to donkey-punch the bejeezus out of things.

If we could hit them from /follow range, that would be perfect. Nothing worse than /following JUST out of melee range, especially when I'm so much faster than my prey.

Lemme guess:
the fix is a range increase for all single target melee attacks if the enemy is moving.

I was thinking something along the same lines; a Melee range increase.

Though I suspect the blasters would then in-turn want their range increased.. and then every other AT..

It was a foregone conclusion it would come out eventually. Otherwise CoV would have been impossible for melee classes.

I always use Taunt for this. Much easier to have them run back to me than for me to run after them.

I dunno which is weirder - that Statesman sees the announcement of a bug fix that should've been made months ago as worthy of its own thread, or that the player base is so starved for fixes to general gameplay bugs that said thread becomes such a love fest. Ah well, I guess it's important not to set expectations very high. Good luck with it, and maybe if Martin gets really confident he can try to fix one or two other bugs while he's at it.

I don't know. I'm at the point now where I can overtake the runners without even turning sprint on. I kind of enjoy letting them think they have a chance of getting away, and then WHAM!

ya know I was starting to get a kick out of chasing down a runner, setting up brawl, running past just enough for brawl to activate and looking as though I just <censored>slapped them for thinking they was gonna get away, and even though Headsplitter kind of has some range on it when set up right.

But YAAAAAAY!!!!! with the epic at's and this I will be more godly then I already am!!
