    Okay, thank you. What I meant was 200% counting the base accuracy. So, for a hold, 125% bonus, or an attack 112.5% bonus. From what you say, it sounds like I may be way over, then.

    Mostly, I'm wondering what people aim at and has the right feel for a corruptor. I'm used to playing a tank, where missing isn't quite as bad, and a dominator, where it's much worse .

    I'm not really at the point you're at yet, in terms of incarnate abilities or influence. However, you've given me a lot of great ideas. I realized that I'd seriously undervalued AoE defense.

    I don't think I really get your first build. Why have you capped both positional defense and S/L defense? I'm missing something there. The second one, though, seems a lot more my style, so I built off of that one.

    Do you find you miss a lot? You have a lot less accuracy than I do. My tanker has similar levels of accuracy to your build, and he's constantly missing. I tried to get 200% accuracy on everything in my build, but if you think I don't need it, then I'll trust you on that.

    I made a build with your suggestions, trying to stay at the first level of alpha, and use as few purples and HOs as possible. I kept my two PvP enhancements, since they're really great, and are a good place to start.

    I made a couple of changes. 5-slotted Aegis gives me almost 5% AoE defense, so I took that over six-slotting Stamina. I kept a good number of slots in TJ, because I basically scrap with my corruptor, just using ranged weapons, so it's a very nice debuff for the team for everything I'm near. I also simply didn't have the slots to spare for Slowed Response, not because I didn't like your slotting, but because I ran out of slots.

    With this build, I'm almost at perma-Hasten/CB. One purple set will make up the difference, as I'm at 198.8% global recharge, so I'm close and there's room to grow. I kept the three slots, since I'd rather not rely on improved enhancements, but I'd grab a slot from there if anywhere:

  4. I'm definitely thinking of proccing it up . Actually, I have a question about that. I'll probably put four basilisks in there for the recharge bonus. There are a few procs I'm thinking of. The ones I'm thinking of are:

    Basilisk's -recharge proc
    Pacing of the Turtle's -recharge proc
    Ghost Widow's damage proc
    Lockdown's +2 mag proc

    However, this leaves me with some questions:

    1. How often are these procs checked for? (I'd like to calculate the damage)
    2. Does the Basilisk's proc go off only when there is a hold? Or does it have just as many chances to go off as Ghost Widow's would?
    3. Same question for Lockdown's proc.
    4. Do the hold bonuses from the enhancements apply to the hold proc from Lockdown?
  5. Aha. Thank you. I didn't understand that. I guess I'll slot Distortion Field for Hold, then, and Time Crawl for, well, nothing .
  6. I noticed that Mids doesn't seem to change the amount that enemies' attack speeds are slowed when I put enhancements in Time Crawl and Distortion Field. Does that mean those numbers are fixed and slow enhancements are basically useless there?
  7. I'm working on a build for my Corruptor, Professor Speed. He's DP/Time, and I've got four goals:

    1) Capped range defense always.
    2) Capped aoe/melee defense with the Time's Juncture Debuff (Needs 26.1%). I'll be capped against everything except AoE attacks coming from outside the Time's Juncture radius.
    3) Perma-Hasten.
    4) Perma-Chrono Boost.

    I've gotten all of these goals, but things can always get better .

    Any suggestions on the build would be appreciated:

  8. I know that I can only get the weekly reward from a story arc once per week, but is that for both story arcs, or can I get a different reward from each story arc? What I mean is, can I get two weekly rewards by doing an episode from Who Will Die? and Pandora's Box episodes?
  9. I've been running the first SSA, but I can't seem to find the way out of the caverns before they collapse. Is there a door out, or are we supposed to fail?

  11. All right, after a lot of tinkering, this is what I've come up with. I'm almost entirely happy with it. It's got room to grow into purples, 97.5% global recharge, still has stone spears, and even a slotted Spirit Tree (since I plan to use it for Panacea, I may as well make it not suck).

    If I could find a way, I'd love to get rid of that fourth slot in Frozen Armor and put it in Power Boost, but I just can't find a way that doesn't involve reslotting Seismic Smash (which I don't want to do).

  12. I'm using Roots for damage, and I'm wondering what happens when I recast it on an enemy who is already taking damage from the DoT.

    Does the new DoT simply refresh the old DoT, so I can't really do more damage unless I wait the full 5.2 seconds, or does the new DoT stack on top of the old DoT, so I do more damage by recasting it as fast as possible?
  13. I'm confused about how converters and rarity work. It says that it converts to things of the "same rarity". However, what does this mean, exactly?

    For instance, sometimes there is an orange and a yellow enhancement in the same set. Can I convert from one to the other in the same set?

    Also, can I convert yellow sets into orange sets? If not, for instance, what does Red Fortune convert into?

    I'm having an issue turning a mission/rare drop into a task force drop that I really want in the same set. I don't want to waste anymore converters until I know it's at least possible.
  14. Aha. Thank you I guess I have the AoTs in Seeds, so I was a little confused. Or are these other enhancements?

    I'm going for a bit of both, actually. I have capped S/L defense and 97.5% global recharge, so I'm really close to permahasten currently (I'd improve those recharge enhancements in hasten to 50+5). I've gotten Hasten down to 123.8 seconds, so I'm really close. I know I could put basilisks in Seismic Smash, but I'd rather have 20% more recharge in that power than 2.5% globally. If I put the basilisks in there, I'd need to put in two damage enhancements, so I'd lose a lot of recharge.
  15. I'm wondering which toggles need to be running for which enhancements.

    Basically, I want to use some toggles as mules without actually running the toggles. So, I'm wondering, do I need to run the toggles to use the following?:

    1) Luck of the Gambler: Recharge Speed
    2) Steadfast Protection: +3 Defense/Resist
    3) Steadfast Protection: Knockback Protection
    4) Gladiator's Armor: TP Protection/+3 Defense

    The reason I ask is that I know I need to run my toggles for my stealth enhancement and my Numina Recovery one, so I was wondering if I needed it for these, too.
  16. Thanks for the great ideas! I think I've got some ideas of how to integrate them.

    Since I have exactly 5 defense abilities, I can't add Kismet without adding a slot. However, I could do something else that would kill two birds with one stone. If I add a fourth slot to Frozen Armor, I can 4-slot LotG with (7.5%;D;D/E;D/E/R), which would put *two* end reducers in FA. And, it would give me 9% accuracy and cap defense. Tada!

    I love stealth early, since it enables me to run around CCing stuff without worrying about aggroing or generally getting killed. That's a playstyle thing, though, so thank you for the suggestion .

    I had no idea that Numina's only worked when an ability is up. I'm used to my shield tanker, where health/true grit are just always up. Thanks for the heads up! I didn't even know about the Panacea IO, but it looks awesome. I'll need another slot in health, so hmm...

    I'd also like to add a Gravitational Anchor: Chance for Hold to Roots. With a second slot in health, a fourth in FO and a sixth in Roots, I'd need to find three slots to play with.

    Any suggestions on where to get the slots? I thought maybe Carrion Creepers, Fly Trap or even just nuking all the slots on Stone Spears because it, you know, sucks . However, I'd definitely be happy for any suggestions on that.

    Sorry, what is the ATO in SOC? I just don't recognize the acronyms there.

    If anyone else has advice, it would be very appreciated as well!
  17. I'm working on my dominator, Gaean, and I would appreciate any advice.

    First some explanations:
    I've five-slotted Strangler so I can put a purple set in there one day.
    I didn't go Basilisk on Seismic Smash, since I'd rather have more recharge there than 2.5% more globally.
    I have no idea what to do on Carrion Creepers. I saw someone else do it this way, but I'm not sure I like it.
    I've capped S/L defense and almost gotten perma hasten.
    I really dislike Tremor, so I dropped it.
    I'm basically just using Toughness as a mule.

  19. Heh, yep, I have been away a while. The low level Gladiators are a billion on my server, though I guess I could pick up a level 50 for 300 million or so. Still, it's worth it. I'll just set up some farm toons with stealth and run some extra missions.

    I've had a look over the build you suggested, and I have a few comments:

    I really like what you've done with Seismic Smash. It hadn't even occurred to me to slot it for hold first, but it makes a lot of sense. My only concern is that I lose some recharge on Seismic Smash itself.

    I also like the idea of the tanker IOs going into Tremor. It's my main source of AoE damage when soloing, so the extra recharge there is great.

    The way it's set up, you could two-slot Weave and keep defense capped. Then the Gladiator enhancement could move to Toughness, another defense can go in Deflection, and I could slot Stone Fist with another CI set, giving me an extra 5% recharge at no cost to defense. In the long run, it allows me to put an Armageddon in Shield Charge, which I can't do otherwise (though I'd need to swap the ToD back in for that).

    I also put a range in Fault. It's my main way of picking up stray packs, so the range really helps there. I don't really need the recharge proc.

    My soul recoils in horror at the idea of six-slotting Taunt like that, though I see what you're doing, as there may not be any better place for the slots. I'll have to think about it. My intuition is to put the third defense back into Weave and then find something else to do with the slots.

  20. Thank you. That is very helpful. It's a little more expensive than my build, but that Gladiator one is only about a billion, which I'll be able to afford with how easily this toon farms. It definitely opens up a lot of options for me, and recharge is a great place to go with it.

  21. I'm coming back to the game after a few years, and my build is a little out of date. Fitness wasn't innate at the time .

    This is a new version of my old build, that I'm thinking of respeccing into. My goals here are capped defense (44.9% AoE but oh well), endless fighting and solid damage. I want S/L capped resistance with One with the Shield Up. I play a lot like a scranker, and like to give some lumps. Any advice would be very appreciated:

    I do plan to eventually put it in Sprint, probably, but I'm only level 28 right now, and I can't afford the extra endurance from taking the SO out of sprint. Also, as you mentioned, I often turn off sprint when leading something trough a mission or just when I'm low on endurance. I may respec it into sprint later, but I always have CJ on, so it was a good fit for now.
  23. Okay, thank you. Is anyone certain on this? I don't want to throw a 90 million inf enhancement in there unless I'm certain .
  24. I'd like to put an Unbounded Leap: Stealth into Combat Jumping, but I'm not sure how that would work. It says it "Grants Stealth for 120 seconds when used in an instant power". I don't really know what that means. Will it grant stealth when in Combat Jumping?

    Also, do I need to have Combat Jumping on for it to work? Or will it just always be active?
