The same can be said for PUGs that aren't communicating but everyone is doing what they need to.
I was in a low-lvl PUG last week, aside from the occasional "pull?", "pulling", "watch out for the 2nd group", "ready"...we really didn't say much but we were ripping thru missions like nobody's business. There were more "gratz" and "ty" being spoken then anything else.

Right right forgot about the unlockable contacts.

But like your 3rd point states, moreso for bragging rights and to tell what kind of player you're dealing with.

There really is no point (on the villain side anyway) to collecting badges other than something to do outside of missions.

Currently on the hero side having certain badges unlocks special badges that give you temp powers.

Once you get 'em you read the description, then you sit in awe because you're only lvl 35 but you have all 3 debt badges, after that you sit around and polish them to make 'em all shiny and stuff.

I could swear I remember seeing that commercial a few weeks ago and I do remember them in the 80's.

Wow what memories...still got my rock and my other 4 were returned to me. So my giant slingshot plan is back in motion.

I just want to give a big 'ole Happy Anniversary and Thank You to everyone involved and playing this magnificent game. So far this has been the only thing to hold my attention for more then a month (I think I might have ADD).
Growing up watching all the superhero shows, cartoons, and movies; reading comics for years, jumping off of stuff with a towel tied around my neck wearing my Superman underoos (yes I had a pair) over my pajamas I so wanted to be a superhero, this game has given me that oppurtunity and I love it.
I truly enjoy the experiences I've had living out my dreams of being a superhero and I thank the whole Cryptic Studios for giving me and tons of other wannabe superheroes the oppurtunity to do that.

Now let's cut the cake, break out the drinks, tie the towels around our necks and get ready for another year.

What seems to be happening is similar to the "Pass the secret" game, the 1st person says something and by the time the 10th person hears it is something completely different then what was said in the first place. Which is apparently what happens anytime a red name says something.

I remember seeing a post by Statesman saying he sometimes anonymously logs onto the live servers and plays amongst us. So I figure that most of them do that.

ya know I was starting to get a kick out of chasing down a runner, setting up brawl, running past just enough for brawl to activate and looking as though I just <censored>slapped them for thinking they was gonna get away, and even though Headsplitter kind of has some range on it when set up right.

But YAAAAAAY!!!!! with the epic at's and this I will be more godly then I already am!!

i had 5 rocks...i switched my tray (cause i was saving them) and all my rocks were gone...i wanted to cry but all i did was ;grief for awhile...i still have 1 in my power list that i'm going to nurture and watch him grow into a big boulder and then i'm going to cooke's and buy supplies to construct a giant slingshot, then i'm going to set up in perez park and see how far i can launch it...now where's my other 4 i need ammo!
