I wanted to take time this morning and wish all the players of City of Heroes a very happy Anniversary.

CoH was officially launched on April 28th, 2004, and it has been a long, strange year ever since.

I hope that we have delivered each and every one of you some memorable moments of fun at some point in these past 12 months, and that many of you have made some new friends through City of Heroes. I know I have enjoyed teaming with you (in secret of course) this past year.

Its continues to be a pleasure working on an MMO, and one based on comic books at that. I hope that you all continue to enjoy the fruits of our labors, and with everything I see about City of Villains, I have no doubt you will.

I'd like to extend thanks to the Art team for keeping the bar high and never compromising, and the Programming team for consistently implementing the crazy new systems we in design come up with for each new Expansion.

Most of all I would like to thank the players, the die-hards and the casual. Without you, there would be no Paragon City.

Why thank you. All I can say is....

Thank you for not releasing I4 to Live and nerfing us all on our anniversary. Bad enough we can't go near test without being nerfed, thank goodness we still have Live, eh?

Happy Anniversery everyone!

A big heartfelt thanks go out to the devs who have made my last 11 months in this game an extremely enjoyable experieince.

I've made a ton of friends, met a bunch of people, and had a lot of fun with this game and I can't wait to see where it goes in the future

I could not find a copy on the day it released, or a couple days afterward. But I did get a copy soon after release and have enjoyed it since. I love this game.

Yep... been here since Beta, and hope to be here til the servers are switched off (or the cows finally take their world back, whichever happens first).

The game has brought me togetehr with so many wonderful people, and given me many strong friendships. Thanks very much to everyone involved both in the making and the playing of the game.

Always remember, we were Heroes.

...and thank YOU guys for not only launching a great MMO, but improving upon it issue after issue. I was blown away by how fun and rock-solid the game was during beta, and through launch, and I become more impressed with every new feature, every new zone, and each little piece of content you deliever to us.

Thank you for taking the time to put up with our whines, or cries of nerf, our ripped out hair, and our not-so-polite forum posts. Thank you for actually listening to the players, and taking a point of view from our perspective. Thank you for the wonderful communication that I've yet to see be surpassed by any other MMO out there.

Thank you for the wonderful game I have to play when I'm bored, or down, or angry, or stressed.
