Happy Anniversary Everyone!
Thank you Positron and all other devs. I have had a lot of fun with CoH over this past year, and I have indeed made some new friends.
Thanks also to all the players out there that have helped make this an enjoyable experience.
Here's hoping for another year just as fun. I know you can do it.
Cheers!
Oh. And Tig's birthday is coming up on monday. Expect cake. And cookies of course.

Happy Anniversary CoH! Still lovin' it.
I remember the strange, bizzaro world-like anticipation of beta. I remember the anxiety over the three day headstart and name reservation (what a mess that was). I remember the hopeful comparison to DAoC launch. I remember the launch day and the "key-code" queries (those who pre-bought and those who went to the store). I remember logging in that first day. The cleanest launch day I've ever been apart of or heard about. I remember noobs asking where Ms. Liberty was or Back Street Brawler (when they were standing infront of them).
Happy Anniversary All. It's been a wild ride and I'm still on. Here's looking forward to the first anniversary of CoV where we'll meet here again and extol the virtues of World DOMINATION...er...uh....n/m.

Die-hard casual gamer thanks and congratulations to all involved.

Thank you Positron (and all the Devs) for all the hard work, tough decisions, and great game. This year has had a whole new level of fun for me.
Thing I got to do to for the first time, thanks to City of Heroes:
- Fly
- Run faster than a speeding train
- Laugh at bullets
- Knock a space alien out
- Fly (I always wanted to fly)
- and many, many more...
Thank you.

CoH was my first mmporg, and I couldn't have asked for a better time-sink. Happy Anniversary!
This is the paper one, isn't it? Will money be okay?
Thank you, Pos and all your geeky friends for making and maintaining a top-notch game!
I took a break for a few months to try EQ2, and regretted that decision. Now I'm back and loving Paragon City once again!
Eat some cake for us all!
Now when is I4 coming out?
Happy Anniversary one and all.
It has been a journey about growth. The players and the development folks have both learned more about one another. Much of it has been wonderful. Some of it has been troubling. All of it has been an experiance to remember.

Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary to everyone at Cryptic and to the entire community!
I've played a few MMORPG's in the past (going back to the original launch of Ultima Online... wooooooo!), but this is by far the best and it's set the bar for all the games that will be produced in the future.
Since I don't have much time to play I debated long and hard about signing up... but this game truly achieves the "fun even if you only play for an hour once-in-a-while" goal that Statesman laid out. I came to love it so much that I bought my wife a new computer, video card, and game account so we could play together.
You guys have done great work, and continue to do great work. I'll be a resident of Paragon City until the lights go out!
An Anniversary Message from Bilskirnir
Congrats on an excellent first year and here's to many more
Happy Anniversary. I hope that City of Heroes has been as successful as you hoped, or more so! Certainly from a player's perspective this game is the best on the market. I have no doubt that City of Villains will continue this high standard.
Since its release, City of Heroes has continued to push the envelope on MMO development, offering value and innovation unheard of in other games, and revolutionizing the industry. Despite high profile competition from recent releases like EQII and WOW, it has weathered the storm and continued to offer a fantastic level of quality and enjoyability. I sincerely hope it continues in this vein, and forces its competitors to play catch-up in matching it feature for feature.
I am an avid player and have been since the day the game was released, despite not being all that much of a fan of the Super Hero genre. The enjoyability of the game mechanics, the design of the game system, artwork, maps and its core concepts transcend that genre.
If you ever go to make a Fantasy-based MMO using these mechanics I am going to be sorely torn, but until then I am dedicated to fighting crime in Paragon City
Bravo to both Cryptic and NCSoft for presenting a terrific game!
*raises his Mace* TO THE NEXT YEAR!!!
Happy aniversary Paragon...
Hopefully many, many more.
Cuz I know I'm not leaving until they kick me out or the doors close.
It's been a crazy wild year. You guys (and ladies!) have been awesome and I've had a fantastic time working ON the game and playing IN the game with many of you (secretly, of course)
Happy Anniversary!

There have been many MMORPG's that have piqued my interest. Some were already out, some were in the works, but ever since I heard about one many years ago, I decided to wait for that one and that one only. That game?
City Of Heroes, of course. As much as I like sword and sorcery and sci-fi stuff, I knew that if I was going to spend so much time and money on one game, it had to be 100% worth it. COH promised it, and it has delivered on that idea better than I could ever hope for. For this, I simply say "Thank you".
Here's to City Of Heroes's first anniversary; may you have many, many more.
Smokin' Joseph - Lvl 50 DM/REG Scrapper - Freedom
Dr. Dirtnap - Lvl 48 Stone/Stone Tanker - Champion
Colonel Sycophantova - Lvl 38 Merc/Traps MM - Champion
Silver Streak - Lvl 50 Fire/NRG Blaster - Champion
Invisible Dragon - Lvl 33 MA/Ninjitsu Stalker - Infinity
Best. MMORPG. Ever.
I think that about sums it up.
Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary CoH! Thanks for a great experience for my first MMORPG!
My main greenlightning hit 50 two days before the year mark.
Though I wasn't here for the launch, I started in June, it's been a great 11 months! Great game everybody, and I look forward to playing for another year, and City of Villian's, Mwhahahahaha!
Happy Anniversary!
Come on devs, art guys, where is my Maid costume for my characters! 5 years now, its a simple request.
Happy Anniversary!
And thank you devs, for the most enjoyable 12 months (almost for me) online ever.
