  1. Fully agree with Kisaragi. If nothing else influence needs to be transferable to Test or at the least enhancements should be able to be sold at 100% during /respecs only.
  2. To all of those that suggested that there was no lubricant offered with the ED implementation - here's your KY :|

Something needs to be said from the dev side... like now.

I'm absolutely certain that CuppaJo will always do everything in her power to give the CoH community as much information as she possibly can, even if that means dragging the Devs over here on the weekend to get that information posted to the CoH forums. If there is ANY way to get us key information, you know Cuppa is working as hard as she can do get it here. Frankly, the devs are working really hard, too, if the times of day they're posting is any indication.

The problem is that, for all of her good work CuppaJo isn't a Cryptic employee, she works for NCSoft.

The Cryptic Dev team needed to be front and center on this one - for both communities. Not just for CoV.

Many, many thanks are owed to Cuppa for all the outstanding work she does. It's a shame her vibe isn't taking hold with the Cryptic Dev team these days.

but we’ve finished making large changes to the power sets.

LMAO - this is too rich.
  5. Congrats on the promotion and thank you so much for your tireless efforts on CoH!!
  6. Thanks for the guide and the insight - I was wondering if there as a viable three form build, and apparently there is! Kudos on the good work.
  7. Congrats on an excellent first year and here's to many more

    Blaster Damage

Sorry States, but isn't that going about the situation bass ackwards? Why attempt to balance down Tanks and Scrappers. Why not start with Blasters and bring them up to par?
  9. How about adding an NPC Salesperson - "Hami-O's R Us®" Sales Rep - Brought to you by Hero Corps. Here any Hero can purchase Hami-O's at 50th level at a very high cost - 1 million or so apiece. This would allow "casual" players to purchase them, wouldn't detract from those "earning" them and would work to soak bloated Influence Pocket Books.

I dunno - but a solution along these lines would be a helluva lot easier to code than "on/off switch" solutions, etc...

Bottom line is I personally want to see the game stay as fun as possible for everyone. Just because ph4t l00t ph4min' isn't my thing doesn't mean I don't understand that others are attracted to it. I also want to see PvP be as successful as possible from the get go. See, the Arena isn't just the introduction of PvP to CoH, it's providing a live testing ground for CoV - and for the health of the game I want to see CoV be as successful as is absolutely possible.

Exactly Booster - Farming Portals for XP, Farming Wolves for XP, Farming Winterlords for XP, Farming Hami for Enhancements - all fit States' definition of "unfun". There has to/should be a change forthcoming.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Except fighting Hami is VERY fun. Much more fun than the 638th "kill all in warehouse" mission. Feels like something epic is going on. I need to hurry up and get these two levels so I can join the raiding without the max debt scare.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Heck - knocking off Hami for the first time should be great fun. And there are many that would say that farming wolves is a blast too, and that the winterlords ended too soo. Fun is subjective. However, when the reason for arresting Hami changes from "for the thrill of it" to "Hami-O's 4 teh winZorZ" it falls into States' definition of an "unfun" activity.

  12. So let the ph4t ph4rming begin in earnest
  13. Can't believe that nobody's mentioned:

    8. Timeframe for flashback? The current temp solution is unfeasible for many due to the "kick exemplar/buddy if crash" in TFs.

I’d like to get this out sometime before City of Villains.

From this post - that has a bunch of other neat-o stuff in it ta boot!

    Here's a question:

Im a force field defender. I've often teamed up with people 6+ levels higher than me, un-sidekicked. I would generally, stay very close and keep the person shielded, and use repulsion field to keep enemies on the ground. I have leadership pool and the medicine pool to keep my teammate healed.

Even though I was using any of my offensive powers (not that I could), is this still considered powerleveling? I did level from 27 to 40 moderately quick this way. The reason I am asking this is because, though I thought it was reasonable way of playing the game, certain other people continue to harrass me because im a "powerleveler".

Edit: fyi, I was always offered a team invite usually without having to ask to join.

Nope - you are clearly contributing to the team's objectives, and receiving (a fat healthy helping) of your just due.
