Quote:You know what would be nifty and creepy at the same time? One of the first things I thought of after the movie was that Stark specifically mentioned LMDs to Coulson (jokingly, of course). So with it established that LMDs exist in this movie universe, there is an easy way to get Coulson back into the movies...and it would totally fit in with Fury wanting to motivate the team to band together.
If Coulson had been an LMD the whole time.
Meaning there is no "real" Coulson, there's only the Coulson series Life Model Decoy.
Also, am I the only person to think, "Okay, the portal device is shielded. Is the tower it's sitting on also shielded?"
<cue Stark shooting at the doohickey, seeing that it's shielded, then blowing out the floor under the doohickey>

Would Nu-Khan retain the ability to remember the faces of people he's never met before?

I say get Adam West back and do a musical version of Frank Miller's Batman Returns.

A simple request:
Have a Dev check in here once and a while?
If nothing else to let us know whether or not these wish lists are a waste of time.

Er, why would you use accnt lamps when the Shift key let's you loft floor items directly?
I mean, I can see using a Floor Tile to make repositioning the cubicle easier, but the days of floor safe or accent lamp lofting are over, man.

Simple, zero thickness wall and floor elements like the Floor Tile, but double sided.
Ideally re-using the existing texture patterns. Wood, white, rustic, gray, cherry, etc.
In like 8x8, 16x16 sizes in addition to the 32x32 Floor Tile.

I personally try to maintain a minimum 12' height. The largest characters are 8' tall, but an 8' ceiling tends to feel cramped.
That's pretty much 3 floors, maximum, due to floor thickness.

Quote:The TRON effects were pretty decent but still looked a little artificial at times.I haven't seen the new Tron yet, but I have seen the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where, iirc, they used a ton of CGI to show us the old-looking (young) Brad Pitt as well as the younger-looking (old). The old one we got to see a fair amount - moving around, doing things, etc. The young one? Not so much, I recall he stood around, partially hidden in shadow in a dark room! I don't think our CGI, even with unlimited budgets, can really get us that far yet.
So yeah, I can't see them even attempting that route either.

Quote:The commanding officer is back too, despite having been reduced to little chunks in the first movie.Same character as the first one. I guess the reasoning is she got the vaccine before she turned so like the girl that was born crippled (part 2) and the vaccine cured her, Michelle's character got augmented somehow. Same for Oded's character. And Lucas is back too.

Quote:They didn't have to do a whole lot of beseeching, actually. They just let Cytorrak know that Cain was getting power from ANOTHER god besides him. Cytorrak was all like, "Oh no he didn't" and stripped the power from Cain pretty readily.Actually, it grew organically from the story. It was a literal last ditch effort by the X-Men to stop Juggernaught, who had also gained the powers of a Norse god. Cyclops went through every conceivable way to stop him and they all failed. So, Magik, Kitty and Peter beseeched Cytorak to remove his power from Cain. Illyana was going to recieve the power but Colossus took her place, at the last minute. He then went back to the battlefield and fought Worthy Cain, defeating him.
Cyt is a jealous type, apparantly.

Quote:Well, considering the guy in Immortals didn't have to actually draw arrows from a quiver, that's not surprising. Both fired their arrows individually and somehow managed to magically hit all 4 targets simultaneously...
Still... I'd say Immortals did it better.... considering the position of the arrows shown in the air seemed more accurate. He fired them much faster. lol.

Quote:If he turns while peeing he could cut the top off the building! If he takes super whizes, wouldn't Clark Kent and the Daily Planet have the highest plumbing bills in the city? Every time he pees he'd destroy the toilet/urinal. And possibly the wall/floor it was mounted on. And god help the people on the floor below if he gets a bit constipated...

I have noticed my Veteran Reward base items are now available to be placed from the Room Details tab.

Quote:Hi!This makes me smile. Suffice it to say that my resources for pulling information about Shadowrun mechanics out of the line developer exceed yours and leave it there.
Again, I have greater resources available to me than you do.
Gimme a little time and I'll pull an answer for you.
Been more than a year.
Any news?

Doom isn't evil.
Well, most of the time. There have been a couple of aberrant episodes.
Doom usually just has an agenda that runs counter to the heroes.
In fact, Jean Grey has at one point mind-scanned him, and realized Doom hasn't got a truly evil bone in his body.
He just honestly believes he needs to be the one running the world because he's the best man for the job. He thinks that under his rule, all of humankind will achieve a perfect utopian society.

Well, it seems that a large amount of the people recruited for the colony were not chosen for their intelligence. You're living an a place where nearly every creature WANTS TO KILL YOU. So, you... traipse off into the woods in small groups and go swimming.
Also, the mini-pterodactyl episode was numbered 1-03 on my cable video-on-demand. The memory-erasing virus episode teaser is numbered 1-05. Are they skipping episodes?

Quote:For example, ask a Mongolian in the 1200s if stealing, looting, and murder are "evil".There are definitely a few actions that are almost universally agreed upon as being "evil," but ultimately that distinction is subjective, defined by individual persons and cultures.

Eh, I wasn't discussing what *I* believe, just what the dev team at the time was giving as reasons for the two year delay in the game's release.
