Nice. They got me at the beginning with the ad...
I don't know if I am the only one who was disappointed that they de-powered Alice in the last one, but I hope she starts to get her abilities back.

That was the only sorespot for me with the whole franchise. On the whole however I really enjoy these films., and I look forward to More Milla Jovovich goodness... I also should mention that despite the last film statign she lost her abilites she still seemed to do agreat amount of superhuman feats. Just not the telekentic stuff.
A little part of me hates these movies. NOT because they arent fun cause they kinda are, but because as long as they keep making money they will never stop and that means we will probably never get REAL resident evil movies.

Lol I clicked on the link and thought it was an ad for the first 20 seconds or so I kinda like how they did that, don't get me wrong I hate ads but that was a nice, hey wait a minute moment.
Also from what I can tell it looks like maybe just maybe they regretted the direction the way RE2-4 went so it's like right after RE1 when she gets captured she might have dreamed it up, or maybe she dreamed up the whole thing when she fainted in the shower, guess I will have to see it to find out.
Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!

I've enjoyed the movies so far, though the biggest disappointment so far was Nemesis

I was thinking prequel. They do show cop cars and Alice holding (what I assume) is her child. The world looked pretty ok....after the last one had only a handful of suvivors and decimation everywhere.
It also fits in with the fact that a former dead zombie from the first movie is now no longer dead, nor even a zombie.
I dunno, could all be flash-backy....but....

Yeah, last I heard it was supposed to be flashbacks or something, but I haven't been following, since that tends to spoil the actual watching of a movie for me.
I've liked the movies so far, own 'em, and watch 'em on occasion. They keep making more, I'll keep watching them.

Sure I'd agree there are parts of the previous RE movies which are very cringe-worthy. But I've seen better movies which didn't get as many (or any) sequels so at least on some level the word mediocre doesn't apply here. No one's going to argue that a McDonald's Big Mac is the very best hamburger in the world. But the fact that millions of people have been eating them for decades has to account for something. *shrugs*

Will be keeping an eye out for this, have liked all the previous RE movies so far so will be watching this one too.

Not that I'm saying they're high class works of cinema genius, written to by writers who make shakespear stand up in his grave and appluad.
But they're fun escapism (for some) and that's all that matter.
And let's all just remember, as bad as you think RE is. As bad as you think the sequals are.
RE and it's sequals blow Mortal Kombat: Annialation out of the water!
I consider these some of the best video game to movie films, and really, I hate the games.
I'm 100% sure I will watch these in the theater. I'm 99% sure I'll enjoy it!
Yes, I'm willing to give that 1% chance, but so far the RE movie series is 4 for 4 for me!
