The detailed info says "Target: Self".

Like I said (at the start of the thread...), dive in-game and type [Secondary Mutation]. Looks like they accidentally published it to Live.
  3. I don't really get why people think tails are a "mutant" feature. SexyJay also hates furries so I doubt we'll be getting them any time soon, he needs a shower after doing those animated ones...

I actually specifically asked the devs about this at the EU meet-and-greet on Union, and whether a fully-IO'd out toon would be able to run the Incarnate content at a comparable level. They refused to give out the goodies though.
  5. I would absolutely love to be able to play with the costume creator wherever I go.

You are posting gigantic walls of text because people are pointing out that, indeed, having 6.66% resist to fire is just a cute little reference the developers tossed in. It doesn't affect gameplay, it doesn't utterly destroy your character concept, it doesn't do anything. It's just there for people to find, go "Heh." and continue on their murderous rampage through the Isles. Except you decided to get super-pedantic over this one detail, and apparently now think there's some kind of conspiracy to insult you.

    Sounds like over-reacting to me.

Oh and FYI no one would argue about the 9.11% to-hit buff for a PPD except for you.
  7. I would be if I knew where the best places to get them were

I hope and pray for the Arms Deal side mission in Safeguards/Mayhems, but they hardly ever come up...

For me that got me quite excited
    *raises hand*

I asked the question about how unique Electric Control was going to be (specifically if it'd have fancy looks like Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning did), and Castle said the animations weren't that unique, but the actual powers were indeed very different.
  9. We know one thing that it'll contain - type [Secondary Mutation] in-game for a sneak preview

Opening the portal also interrupts any powers in progress around you. It's a right pain when I'm trying to use my Mission TP and some cad keeps dropping the orange rings o' time
  11. When I'm feeling bored or generous I go into the sewers on a high level buffer and give the teams a bit of a boost.

I used to do it on my Tanker too, except now I keep accidentally killing people with my taunt. Curse you, Perfect Zinger!
  12. A giant doughnut... looks like another giant doughnut?! Colour me surprised, captain!
  13. Toxic is also the least resisted of all damage types, but there aren't any powersets based solely around it. Spines has a toxic AoE on most of its attacks and DP can use chemical ammo, but that's pretty much it.
  14. See title. I sent one to a guy but he can't use the code, and he's in the US and I'm in the EU. Did I miss something or are they not cross-region?
  15. I don't think I've got any 'cosmic-level' characters. I've got one big ol' troll, but you can't punch the universe in half. More 'human'-level characters have always held more appeal to me than a dude who can break continents in half with his little finger - heck, nearly all my characters don't even have full control over their powers.

Blue Moon went into a coma when she last used the full extent of her physics-control powers against the Clockwork King, and that's just normal hero-level stuff. Venus Green can't stop her creation powers constantly making everything she touches grow. Buck's got a tendency to go a bit berserker in battle (which doesn't stop him from making eloquent quips, he just shouts them louder )

Maybe I should roll up a literal god, could be fun...

"Un-Common" is tough to define. I think overall, except for 1 or 2 builds for every AT, all the others are pretty evenly represented.
My AR/Sonic corruptor just hit level 30.

I haven't seen many Archery or AR corruptors around on Union.

    Veteran Rewards

I'm only a 15 month vet and I still don't support this. Looking forward to getting my next reward keeps me in the game, even though I know there's a good chance that the game is going to be abandoned before I reach the highest ones
  18. Canon Booster Pack

    Includes:

    - Freakshow parts including giant claw arms, hammer hands, Juicer lightning poles and more
    - Carnival of Shadows parts including porcelain masks, Strongman helmets, and those big dresses the Illusionists get
    - Those skull and demon masks that Skull and Hellions lieutenants get
    - Crey scientist aprons
    - (with GR) Resistance armour sets, Loyalist armour sets, the big Ghoul shackles, and more
    - Logos of most/all villain groups for chest details
    - Temp power: Disguise. Changes player model to that of selected enemy (within reason, no turning into Hamidon and so on). Player is then effectively invisible to targeted enemy group for two minutes.

I don't know, I just like making toons that fit in with existing groups
  19. Well, I was about to explain exactly why this is a terrible idea, but...

  20. Ooh, are we listing characters?

    Available for most anything

Buck the Troll - reformed Troll genius with the strength of, ooh, at least a hundred men, and a recovered 'Dyne addict. He can work stuff out and hit people!

    ...

    ...Err, that's pretty much it.

    People who can contribute indirectly

Blue Moon - physics professor with incredible talents of gravity control, retired from the heroing life after her powers put her in a coma for four months. Can probably sit around at the University and crunch numbers or whatever you need.

...and again, that's pretty much the only one... I need more RP heroes
  21. I thought War Witch was supposed to be pretty powerful... in that video all she's using is [Brawl]!

  22. This wouldn't really work because, so far, all the powersets work specifically with effects, not causes. The effect of Ice Armour is that you end up covered in slippery ice that boosts your defence. The effect of Invulnerability is attacks not harming the character so much. The cause is always up to the player - which leaves Reptile Armour looking a bit out-of-place, as it is specifically a cause and not an effect.

    Italics.

The PPD drones are teleporting you to jail, apparently - although for players it seems to teleport them all the way back to their own hospital in perfect safety... I think they need to do some bugfixes there
