Can I send re-activation or trial codes to US accounts from my EU account?

See title. I sent one to a guy but he can't use the code, and he's in the US and I'm in the EU. Did I miss something or are they not cross-region?

That's a pretty good question. Unfortunatly, I don't know the answer. My thought would be that it shouldn't matter, since people not in EU are able to play on the EU Servers if they have an EU version of the game, just as people living outside of the US can play on the US Servers with a US version of the game.

If it turns out that a US account needs to send him the Trial Code, send me a PM, and I'll be more than happy to send him one.

A reactivation code sent from an EU account will be an EU reactivation code. A reactivation code sent from a US account will be a US reactivation code.
