  1. Tried CoH this morning: 1 min 43 seconds from clicking "I agree" to being at the login screen.
  2. Unless you can't afford the $40 I can't think of a reason to not Step-up.
  3. Lesson: don't use email as storage.

  5. I've found a couple of helpful things in playing my Ill/Emp controller who I seem to solo with a lot more than I ever intended:

    1) Know your enemy: Hold/Confuse/stun the mezzers. Focus any attacks that you have control over on the mezzers first.
    2) Watch your Insp tray: If you see triples of something that isn't a heal or def buff convert it to a break free.
  6. @Lobster: Drat. Have you tried renaming the Pigg folder and having the updater redownload everything?
  7. I recently had some freezing when going into the graphics options, also, have an NVidia card like the OP. To fix, I uninstalled my drivers, ran driver sweeper, rebooted, reinstalled my graphics drivers. Hope this works for the both of you.
  8. I had this problem recently. Uninstalled my graphics drivers, ran Driver Sweeper, rebooted, installed the graphics drivers (same version). Haven't had a crash going to the Graphics and Audio tab since *knock on particleboard*.

    Third Build Woes

This thread has gone to the Americans.

    missing e-mails

I figured the reason they don't a message in the game not to leave stuff in the mail accounts is because it's labeled as a mail account and not storage so they figured no one would ever store stuff in it. I know I don't since that's not what it's intended for and after reading these threads I'm surprised people keep trying to store stuff in the in-game mail
  11. I had some graphics issues after the i19 update, though I was also seeing graphics issues in Windows itself with the _, [], X missing from windows unless I moused over that area. I endedup renaming my Piggs folder to force it to redownload all the files AND I removed (uninstall + driver sweeper) my Nvidia drivers, rebooted, then reinstalled them. This fixed both issues.
  12. Cool. I will definitely give that a shot when it comes out.

    19 live? when?

FYI, my computer at home did not download anything when I started the updater but started patching. That sounds like i19 to me.
  14. Spice_weasel, it sounds like you have never gone through a respec before. After you have picked all your powers and put slots in all the powers, you get a screen with ALL your enhancements listed so that you can places them back in the powers you want them in.

  16. Just noticed that the posters that are having issues have a driver date of 7/9/2010 while I have a driver date of 6/7/2010. Wonder if you roll back a version if your issues will go away?
  17. Just ran around Talos for a few. Went to Oro, came back. Changed some graphics settings. Did not have any issues. Mind you, I was only in game for about 5-8 minutes.

    Here are my spec/settings:

Oops, botched my own punch line. I meant:

    LOL!

    Well played.
  19. Yup. Getting "Lost DB Connection" on Freedom as well, though if I go to a few other server character select screens first, then go to Freedom I get to the character select screen.
  20. The store is up (or at least it let me purchase the Collections pack). Are people still unable to access their purchased slots?
  21. In no particular order:
    • They can take the servers down at anytime they need for as long as they need them down.
    • They schedule the downtime for how long they think it will take but it can go over for unforeseen reasons
    • This is not the normal weekly maintenance. That is why they warned us about the maintenance ahead of time.
  22. Thanks for the info Hyperstrike! I'll have to give these a try.

@ElectroHawk: If I remember correctly the UltraMode features make use OpenGL 3.
