In game emails gone
yup. all mine are gone too. i petitioned. i'm sure i didnt have as much as u did in it, but 20 EoEs is more than i want to have vanish without proper use. :P
btw, i petitioned and they admitted an error occured during the down time, and asked me for some info so they can find it.
Well, I sent myeself 1.2 billion, a recharge/heal panacea, and who knows what else. They are all gone...
Are you guys petitioning in game?

An error occurred with the global mail service related to server maintenance on the morning of 1/20. I would be glad to research this for you and restore any items that did not survive the maintenance.
In order to do that, I'll need to gather some specific information from you. Please tell me the name of the character that sent the messages and the server you were playing on closest to, but not after, 6:00 AM Central Standard Time on 1/20.

This is cute.. bulk of my mails are still there, but i seem to have lost a Numina piece or few, along with 200mils of inf.
So yay for that.. will petition this and in the future, i got to remember to claim any/all mails as soon as i swap characters to prevent this nonsense from happening again.

I lost a couple purple recipes and a few odds and ends recipes.
I got the same kinds of replies (escalated to senior support and asking which server I most recently played on before maintenance) and am waiting on them to (hopefully) correct the issue. I'm not even overly concerned about the miscellaneous recipes. I just want my purples back.
So this is brilliant; I lost 4billion.
I don't use mails as storage, but I don't expect them to disappear in a day either.

They have occasional issues with email getting "rolled back" during server maintenance, and have always been able to track down the problems for me when I've submitted petitions and told them which character(s) had sent items or influence that had gone missing.
This time they even restored 3 level 10 IOs that I hadn't bothered to ask about, because I didn't want to clog up the system with cheap requests.
My postings to this forum are not to be used as data in any research study without my express written consent.

Got the email telling me the issue has been escalated and the follow up mail which wanted details on which character sent the mails and on what servers, to which i now have replied to.
Hoping that issue gets resolved soon, as while i didn't lose all that much, it's still pretty annoying when your mails go missing overnight.
checked mine and everything still there,so it would seem the bug is just hit and miss not nice to lose your stuff tho

I sent some ingame emails to myself last night. After the issues this morning with the Market, AE, Globals etc... all ingame emails are gone. Is there a resolution in the works?
