    Tried to move two of my characters to Beta from Virtue hour or two ago, neither as of so far has gone through.

    Will probably try again later but at least for now, the tool isn't working for me.

    Well, not a build guru or anything especially when it comes to Fire/SD but to me, what you've cooked up seems pretty workable, albeit not something i would personally roll with, mostly due to the usage of certain IOs/sets that i am far too cheap to invest in even though i do have the inf. .

    Don't particularly like Defenders, as the damage of their attacks is abysmally low and while they do get respectable buff/debuff numbers, i feel Corruptors/Controllers do an overall better job with things, despite lower buff/debuff values.

    That said, i have a Dark/Dark/Soul Defender sitting at level 50 that i like + an Empath, who's level 42 at the moment.. once she hits 50, unless the AT gets somehow 'improved' i doubt i'll roll another Defender, ever.

    Also, not big on Tankers either.. as the damage there, again, is too low to my liking + Brutes and even Scrappers in some cases, can tank as good as actual Tankers, sometimes even better.

    I'd buy it for the bolded part in a heartbeat, mainly because i'd love an elemental weapon set + it'd save me from redoing my Fire/Shield scrapper.

    So i've been trying to put a build together for a while now, for the upcoming double experience weekend in mind (which just got postponed, so boo for that) and after about 20 or so tries, i think i've finally managed to come up with something suitably decent.

    Would appreciate some comments and suggestions though on the build, as i have never played fire/ nor /shield yet, so unsure how feasible they are together.

    Main goal was to get myself softcapped (which i think i succeeded in) but other than that, is there anything else i should've focused on perhaps?

    As always, all help/advice/the like is greatly appreciated, since i am not that knowledgeable when it comes to character building.

    I tend to run through story arcs each time i put a team together, which happens almost daily (unless i don't feel like teaming or just want to grind up a trial or two).

    The only time i am NOT running arcs when leading a team is when i'm trying get some specific contact, meaning i need to complete some radio/paper missions to get a safeguard/mayhem.

    So yeah, people do run em though most teamleaders seem to prefer radio/paper missions due to easiness of access or whathaveyou.

    Hmm, heard about that as well, but am using Radeon 5870 so.. yeah, am baffled as while the issue isn't gamebreaking and only seems to happen to ONE character with any consistency, it is as you said, annoying as hell since it prohibits me from playing said character at all for a while.

    So yeah.. annoying thing really, that keeps happening randomly when i open my contacts tab or even talk to contacts in person now too.

    The game freezes along with the whole computer for a few seconds, then i get the message that basically says: Video driver stopped responding/became unresponsive and had to be restarted.'

    So far i haven't found a reliable way to get the eror to occur, but it seems to happen after i've been playing a while, after which the character that it happens to, cannot be logged onto for a while since the same thing just repeats itself over and over and over again.

    Now, no other game has the issue, only City of Heroes so am at a loss on what to do, since the game has worked perfectly fine in the past for me.. been wondering if it was a recent patch that started the issues, but really dunno.

    EDIT: Using the NCSoft launcher and doing a consistency check on the game, seemingly 'repaired' some files, but the issue still persists and after more 'crashes' if further consistency checks/repairs are performed, some files are again seemingly fixed/repaired.

    Meh, more reboots buuuut.. who knows, maybe this one'll be alright (as if!) + sorting out the mess of all those bad Highlander movies, it can only be for the good really.

    Still, who knows.. liked the first movie, snoozed through the second and the rest were bleh so here's to hoping something decent will come out of this.

    Still though, being unable to log on for couple of days and then coming back to find emails missing is NOT a nice surprise. -.-

    My plans:

    To level up the characters i created (mind/psi dom, ice/thermal corr, ice/ice tank) for this weekend to 20's or so, to see if any of them feel worth keeping.

    Then, assuming there's time (and there shoud be) maybe get few levels on my Kin/Regen stalker or Demons/Dark MM maybe, in addition of trying to push some of my more permanently stucked character up from low 30's.

    Other than that, dunno really.. maybe level something else or.. do stuff.

    Have to echo others here.. as it'd be nice to get some free transfers, as with then some non-played characters could be moved elsewhere and new ones made.

    Heck, was sorta hoping they'd do it for the 2XP weekend but guess not..

    Cardiac seems like the most popular boost to go with and considering it'd let me to smash without endurance worries, at least for most parts.

    So thanks for the replies folks, as i think i'll go with it, the Cardiac boost that is.. as am still gathering up the needed shards and while i grind those out, can run a mission or three to see how bad my true endurance consumption is without it when going all out smashy!

    Hmm, Cardiac seems to be a common theme here and yes, it would help with the end draining quite nicely but what about the Musculature boost?

    Is it that 'bad' or are the others just that much better in comparison? As granted, even at the higher tiers the damage boost wouldn't be that big, but still.. it would provide some benefit.

    Part of me does want the Spiritual boost since the few AoEs that i have, seem to charge sluggishly at times.

    But the Cardiac one.. it would probably be the best one, as i know it made a huge difference on my Bane, with him never running out of endurance now.

    Feh, decisions decisions.. endurance or recharge, recharge or endurance?
