I especially regret taking the prestige sprints on a few characters. The list is getting to mahoosive levels.
Clutter is bad. Shuuuun. -
I like that.
Certainly when messing with various parts, I remember a few times flicking things accidentally, then struggling to get it back.
Although I stay well away from Random
bleagh.

Quote:It is if, say for Marshall Brass, you start a few missions with him, go do something else, and then come back. This is not a fact, unless you've either just leveled and have not yet changed zones, or you're looking at the wrong tab in your contacts list. If a contact is in your Active Contacts list, they have something to say to you (which might just be introducing you to a new contact, but it's something).
You are STUCK with him permanantly in your contacts list, permanantly giving out low conning missions, and no way of telling him to, kindly, go find someone else to do the work he can't do himself. (
)
Option to drop outlevelled contacts, not just missions. Kthnxbai. -
Even that shouldnt matter. KB resistance slotting, in my experience anyway, simply works all the time when you have it in. Point in case, my Crab Spider when I exemped down to team with some lowbie friends.
Bear in mind that the slot is ONLY -4Mag. There are still cases where you can get bounced all over the shop. Im looking mainly at Tsoo, Ballista's, Sigil and a few other cases. -
Quote:I actually Lol'd."Must find more bodies. More bodies mean more fluffies. More fluffies mean more bodies. More bodies mean higher damage resistance. More damage resistance means more bodies. More bodies mean more fuel. More fuel means more bodies."
It is a vicious circle of madness.
There's Scrapperlock. And then there is Shadelock.
And Bubbalock, a special class

Quote:I chuckled. This is the world of interdimensional war and steam-powered super-villains. I think you lucked out."Natural Control Powerset" - One that could be realistically used by a normal, non-enhanced human being, and doesn't include any extremely unrealistic technology.
Also, on the question of psionics being used with Natural; Given VEAT Widows are Natural origin, and get psionics, I guess the official answer is yes to that.
Any powerset can work with any origin.
It's called Creativity.
But I'll never say no to more options. Options are Good. With a capital G. -
Quote:You run the Pratoren AV ark lately. Be leave me at least as far as the people of our home dimension are concerned they are evil. Or at lest tushy freaking crazy. And the faction called the rebels agree with me. Remember one of the points of the game is that were free to make our own opinion of what is good or evil. Frankly I don't necessarily think even Lord Recluse is totally evil. Regardless of what you think of him his lands are thriving.
At any rate this is a game just because they say something at a con doesn't mean that it's going to get into the game. I simply stated possibility. The alt version of lord recluse could still be around and they might just not want you to know about it yet. Like I sead "Unless you've see his dismembered decomposing corpse I wouldn't bank on him being dead." Could also be his son or daughter seeking revenge against Marcus Cole. Personal revenge could fit rouge status very easily. Isn't that the basis of the Punisher's background that was mentioned as an example of an anty-hero/rouge. You think I'm being black and white but you're thinking in so many absolutes there are no such thin in this or any other world.
As for the riki thing it seams I got them mixed up with the Nictus. But the theory still stands there is no realy moral alignment for planetary conquest since we don't know there motives and there not from ether detention. Though I sort of like the idea of the Pratorenes invading there dimension and the reason there attacking ours is because they mistook it for theirs. Riki lord "Whopsy wrong dimension must have forget to carry the 2." :P (And I know the ailed riki would have dis proven this. IT's A JOKE.) X(
Still the lack of war walls do suggest that if they are there there probably doing far better aginst them than we are.
Oh and as far as markets are concerned if the game can be played with out going to hero or villain side thin there will probably be a pratoren market. Any reason not to combine them is probably both story wise and that would double the back end complexity of the system.
...
This and the previous post both call for an execution.
And that's just the typo's.

You get kudos for making a Homestar runner joke in the title. Even if you didn't mean it
-
Quote:^ ThisThe benefits are purely cosmetic. For years, people have asked for the ability to walk instead of running everywhere. Almost as long as people have been asking for animated hair, backpacks, or holsters / sheathes. Just think of the Walk power as another costume piece, and you'll have the proper frame of reference to understand it.
Its a nice QoL thing for the people who care about it.
And it was done in spare time, so there should be no moaning about 'We should have had this developed instead!' I know there will be, though...damn fleshlings... -

Attempting: Humouress Rebutal

People just love to whine. Someone is always doing something wrong. I should know...although I tend to be growling at the mobs. Freakshow was the target last night ("No, STAY DEAD! Garrrgh, how many times do I have to kill you?! No, not the Boss, not the BOSS...damn!" *stabstabstab*)
There is this whole taboo about Energy/energy, or mostly energy blast. So long as you communicate well, all should be well. -
Lord Atom.
He' like the Joker, crossed with Barry the Chopper from Fullmetal alchemist, crossed with a suit of power armour containing a nukes worth of cycling and recycling radiation. He's quite, quite mad. And has about -100% mercy, compasion or kindness.
He's my one really Evil character, one who I look back over and think "Wait...I played that? Oo; " -
I read this while hungry.
I now have an overwhelming urge to chew peoples faces off...
If it happens, it happens.
If it doesnt, STOP WHINING ABOUT IT!

Quote:But...Recluse already HAS a voice. It's on the old cinematic trailers and the screens in Grandeville. And it is AWESOME.
Lord Recluse is voiced by the late great Mike Kleinhenz, especially his performance as Lucifer in LADY DEATH.
Hmmm, I can't think of any others off the top of my head...tired. Although it's a tad tempting to make Christian Bale (Aka Batman) play Manticore

Ninja run is pure Win.
That is all. Still need to check out the costume parts, but they look very neat =] -
Quote:Sheesh. Never get on the bad side of an advanced AI.
Portal Corp get's their naive mitts on all the good tech. If they didn't have pretty much every high-powered cape crawling over that island, I'd be liberating a lot more of it...
Still, Praetoria...Looks shiny. Depends on the cogs and gears underneath the hood, though. Some of the worlds through portals are so much junk. This one, though...I dunno, smells like potential to me. See if I can't get my hands on some of their tech. See what makes it tick. And then, hey, there's always the option of fireworks. I might even have to upgrade OMEGA 1's missiles loadout...hehehe...
Now, what was it...oh, yes;
GET OUT OF MY LAB!

Praetoria's gonna rock

Quote:Agreed. The man essentially owns his own dimension. How much more powerful do you need him to get? Should he juggle planets or something? The Statesman is invincible in Praetorian Earth because he's a Mary Sue, but even despite that, he's crucified over Tyrant's throne and going nowhere.
And I definitely do NOT want the arc pulled and turned into a TF. We have enough plot locked away in TFs where no-one ever gets the chance to read the narrative. We don't need more. And we definitely don't need more content that makes us feel like chumps. I very much agree that taking out other-dimension Statesman and the other-dimension Freedom Phalanx single-handedly works really well for a hero's shining moment.
I am not a wimp. I shouldn't have to beg and plead and band together with seven of my buddies to take out one of them. THEY should have to band together to take me on. That arc does just that, and I love it for it. By all means, update the Praetorians and clean up the zillions of text errors, but do NOT turn it into a TF.
Massacring Phalanx/Vindicator members with heavy firepower is very satisfying. Especially Valkyrie...her and her horrible 'Come back in X minutes' MoG. Eesh. -
Quote:I know we don't really need an IC reason. I thought I might as well provide one though, for the one person who doesn't, for some reason, like the idea and goes "It doesn't make IC sense!"You don't need any in-character reason at all. Let me ask you this question: if the markets were merged tomorrow with no patch notes, would you be able to tell? And if you began to suspect, would you have an in-character way to verify that? As long as all the times are the same between sides, the only way to tell if the markets are merged or not is out-of-character.
Well, yes it can, actually.
Merge 'em, please. This is from someone playing mostly redside. I am sick to death of the piddly stock. -
New PC (half of which is sat here in it's box) should, hopefully, do the trick.
Hell, anything is better than having to mooch around on minimum settings. -
Quote:You are pretty much stuffed then.i dislike the fab =/ there is to many bosses for a lvl 9 to handle =/
My MM is level 50, and still ain't managed to nail enough of the blue and yellow buggers to get that badge.
I still dislike how nasty the weapons unlock badges are, ESPECIALLY redside. Tommy gun, anyone? Nemesis rifles? -
Quote:And, unlike fly poses, it's a power. Not something you have to keybind to get any use out of.As an RP addition, it probably won't see a whole lot of us in places like Atlas Park outside of the burst of interested people for the first couple weeks.
However, unlike fly poses, you move slow while using it and can use it in confined spaces and, shock, let other people see you using it. As such, the places where it'll see most use will probably be places like Pocket D, bases, costume contests, and any other sort of social gathering type place where people are just hanging out and talking rather than shooting badguys with flamethrowers.
Walking is far superior to the 'jog' of normal movement when it comes to Pocket D and stuff, speed and look wise. -
Quote:Ah, now, see that I can get behind. Its the knock-DOWN that annoys the hell outta me. 'Push-Back' isn't that much of a problem.I would never remove KB protection from the game. I would, however, modify the KB mechanics to make a distinction between "knocked back" and "knocked over." Right now, its impossible to knock a melee (or any other) character back without also knocking over, so to prevent knock over (which is a form of incapacity) you have to be absolutely immune from KB.
This would allow the game designers to make, say, an AV that is capable of knocking the tank back five feet without the tank being incapacitated for the 3 seconds it takes to get back up. It also would allow certain powers (like say, hover) to provide knock over protection separate from knock back protection, which would give squishies a way to buy some protection from knock effects without having to sell immunity from knock effects. -
