  1. Problem is, the runspeed gets suppressed from ninja run (and i cant use combat jumping with it as well)

    I have contemplated switching my Fire/SR from AV soloing build to a "see how fast i can run" build, since I rarely have the patience to solo AVs.

    I hate Caltrops. It's ok on a ranged toon, but just makes life difficult as a melee toon.

  7. I can say that my Claws/WP scrapper dies a whole lot more than my DM/Inv.

    I have yet to find a build for WP that I like I really would like to like it, but I just always seem to stop playing them (my claws/WP scrap has been sitting at 43 for a very long time now)

    *edit* claws/wp dies more than my spines/regen, BS/DA, Kat/Inv, Fire/SR scrappers as well >.>
  8. (would help to have enhancements) Not sure why you didn't show what enhancements you have, plan to have.

    As far as a leveling build advice: I would say make sure you slot for endurance reduction. I would drop shadow punch. I find that in low levels having Siphon Life, Smite and Shadow Maul give me enough attacks to use to not need/want shadow punch.

    Here is a leveling build I threw together using my experience with my DM/invuln leveling. I tried to put the slots in when I thought I would do it in game. The actual IO levels really do not matter, but the IO sets are rather cheap and I avoided rare IOs so that the crafting would be cheap as well. This is pretty much what my toon looked like when it was leveling.

  9. But you start out with no defense, and no +HP. A DM/Invuln can have softcapped defense to S/L, E/N, F/C and capped HP, along with capped S/L res, and 25-30% res to all but psi.

    Use taunt (slotted for range and duration of coarse) and the temp jet pack. I do that every time now on all my tanks and brutes because it is 99% effective. Even done it multiple times on my DA tank and my Energy Aura Brute. (yay strong and pretty)
  11. I consider it a plus to the set if it has a taunt aura, not a drawback.
  12. Looking at your build and the one that I made, we had the exact same power choices.

    I sort of amalgamated your build and mine together to make mine even better, so thanks for the post. I chose to go the Cardiac alpha slot because I didn't want endurance to be an issue, as well as it allowing me to increase my resistance by about 5% overall.

    I had yet to find a build posted with fireball in it, which I think is a main flaw of Dark Melee. Not enough AoE to kill spawns fast enough.

    Notes for improvement, in no particular order:

    1. Get one more slot in Fire Sword for the last Touch of Death IO
    2. Move 2 BotZ to Super Jump
    3. Don't slot Grant Cover for recharge. Pop a LotG proc or Kismet Proc in there.
    4. Sixth slot of Armagedon is not that helpfull. Drop the +Dam one.
    5. You could prolly use a bit more recov
    6. I would drop tactics, and just 6 slot Build Up with the Gausians.
    7. Cremate is a great attack! find a way to put it in.
    8. Pop a LotG or Kismet in Combat Jumping
    9. Slotting a Membrane HO in Active Defense will increase the defense debuff resistance granted.
  14. It's not a bug of any kind. It's just simply network latency and computer lag errors. For some reason your client misses the cue to play the animation. It happens to any power (especially noticeable on long animation powers). Nothing to worry about, it just happens, and is fairly unavoidable.

    I don't think I have enough recharge to run Smite -> SL -> Smite -> MG, so I believe I will use Smite -> SL -> Ring of Fire -> MG. I have some AoE, Soft Capped Def to S/L with one mob in Invincibility, and softcapped to E/N with it fully saturated. Should have capped resistance and low end costs with the Cardiac Boost.
  16. It only works when it hit's a target. Tried it out

    Also the Sleep chance to heal proc never fires in Static Field. I guess it heals the psuedopet.

    Let me know what your interested in. Not really interested in turning a profit (since ive had these for a year and haven't used em) so whatever you think is fair is fair.
  19. This happens to me as well, I just need to actually click the window (i have it set up 6x2) so i click the far left of the window. It does Not seem to do it to my newer toons, just toons that were made before the pop up window came into effect.

  21. In regards to Hasten. I don't use Hasten on my Fire/SR and he fairs pretty well. I just didn't want to have to click it, ymmv.

    Way too much defense. Trust me, 45-47% is all you will ever need on a /SR thanks to capped DDR.

    Practiced Brawler gains no significant boost for being double stacked, so 1 end red would be fine, and still keep it perma.

    Superior Conditioning just gives +endurance, so slotting end mods just increases your max endurance, not greatly useful. I normally just do a Perf Shifter Proc.

  22. SR has plenty of KB prot/res. The most important part is the res. Power sets that don't have KB protection, also don't get the resistance. He will be fine in the KB department. [Practiced Brawler] is more than adequate.
  23. Defense will be DR'ed into oblivion.

    On my Fire/SR, specced to try to PvP, he's got over 100% defense to range in PvE(that's where most of the damage is in PvP) with elude on, and when in PvP he sits at around 48%.

    It just didn't work well, unless I was fighting a blaster.
