Perma Elude....AGAIN!?!?!?
So you're saying that about 30% more Recharge on top of what you have for Elude is going to make it go from ~233s to at or under 180s?

If my friends info and math is correct yes
forgot a purple set...can fit another in char
Okay my friend had how recharge worked wrong. All well only need 556% total recharge for elude and that build with the purple in char is at 353% without the spiritual tier 3
Cap is at 400% too, so that's out the window.

I asked the same question in another thread, and Werner said the most you can get it down to is like 72 seconds downtime. Not sure but I think that was using my 172.5 that I currently have on my ma/sr, with 3 recharge in elude, and the very rare recharge alpha. So you can get kinda close but still can't perma.
As bAss Ackwards has inferred above the absolute minimum theoretical downtime is going to be, I believe, 20 seconds (1/5th of 1000 seconds or 200 second recharge vs 180 duration) while at the recharge cap (500% or +400%) ... which is a long way from possible without outside buffs I imagine.
I think you are also forgetting the crash is a lot more severe than it used to be. All end drops, all toggles, too. Unless you have a pocket empath with Adrenaline boost or dark consumtion or blue pills, your a sitting duck trying to toggle everything. Just get to soft cap and pop one purple. I still have elude to mule a Shield wall Unique - that is all.

This build has some VERY impressive recharge. Let's see, you have +118.16% on Elude itself, +211.3% global, the very rare Spiritual will give you 30% + (15%*15%) = +32.25%. So you have 100% + 118.16% + 211.3% + 32.25% = 461.71% recharge and are closing in on the recharge cap. Elude will recharge in 1000/461.71% = 216.59 seconds, giving you only 36.59 seconds of down time. You are, of course, still nowhere near permanent, but that's over 83% uptime.
Now, you don't often need that much defense, and even if you did, you could probably get it from other powers and IOs if you tried, and with Tough, more hit points, and no crash. But it's still interesting just how much recharge you can get these days.

im assuming this a pve only build due to the power choices in build, and if that assumption is accurate then who needs perma elude for a pve toon? you can build an /sr up so easily and cheap too and get waaaaay over def cap. so why spend all that money on ALL that recharge only to have capped def for less than 1/2 the cost of that build. just saying.
@The REAL Chop
My teachers always told me to follow my dreams. To bad they are all Nightmares.
I notice you have the force feedback proc in kick. That proc requires that the power be used and then it has a 10% chance to go off, then it lasts for 5 seconds. I suspect that your friend's math is assuming that proc its up 100% of the time (which mid's would display if you toggle that button on). Even if you spammed kick and nothing else, the bonus would only be up an average of about 5 seconds of every 26 seconds.\
I realize this is only a theoretical build, but for those of you following along at home... I'd put an endurance modifier in practiced brawler, as this build already has enough recharge to make it perma *wink*.
I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.
>.> I have to say. The main reason I would want perma elude is for the happy fun unsuppressed run speed buff

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.

Edit: Doh left the Incarnate boost toggled on ... might want to turn that off or go non-Legacy all together
Problem is, the runspeed gets suppressed from ninja run (and i cant use combat jumping with it as well)
I have contemplated switching my Fire/SR from AV soloing build to a "see how fast i can run" build, since I rarely have the patience to solo AVs.
Something like this...

So Ive been thinking if perma elude is possible again with the alpha slot and I did some looking into it and talking with friends. We believe that it would work with the 45% third tier recharge alpha slot and this is what we came up with. A very very very very expensive build but seems doable. If all the math was done correctly by my friend, I am not a major number cruncher, it is once again obtainable and I havent seen anything about it so here it is.
