I only buff with my cold whoever is most likely to be attacked a.k.a. the brutes/tanks. Everyone else tends to huddle close and not have to worry about much agro....of course I also play my defender like a scrapper and I am always one of the first couple into groups...I just let someone else take the alpha and if it tends to be the same person every time then Ill buff them so "I" stay alive longer :P

I solo'd trap door on my cold/ice. I found it pathetically easy he made one clone that I "didn't" kill and dropped like a rock conning at my lvl. I also solo'd him at +4 on my kat/sr scrapper (mainly bcuz I was to lazy to turn down my difficulty) but he wasnt that bad. I pulled him into the lava with the scrapper to help with dps but my cold didnt and has a grand total of like 10% dmg buff if that. sleet > ice storm > snow storm > ice bolt > ice blast > ice bolt > bitter ice blast and I was done...if I could do it again with my fender I would and Id turn up the difficulty for a challenge.

My cold /ice fender is only soft capped to s/l and it is cheap. I would have to say that def is far better to have on a fender than resistance and I would also have to choose spiritual as it is better to have the debuffs up more.

Okay my friend had how recharge worked wrong. All well only need 556% total recharge for elude and that build with the purple in char is at 353% without the spiritual tier 3

So Ive been thinking if perma elude is possible again with the alpha slot and I did some looking into it and talking with friends. We believe that it would work with the 45% third tier recharge alpha slot and this is what we came up with. A very very very very expensive build but seems doable. If all the math was done correctly by my friend, I am not a major number cruncher, it is once again obtainable and I havent seen anything about it so here it is.

I'm just starting to get into PvP and I have had a few people who actively PvP suggest this to mess over regens. I am not sure what powers i should take and shouldn't. Any suggestions?

I whole heartedly agree with The_Question ive got a 50 regen and a 50 sr and regen is by far the most survivable ive ever played. i have not got any of the others past lvl 20 though. But regen is never hit and run. If your running with regen your just horrible at being a scrapper and should go back to your blaster. Regen is meant to die. Its gonna die thats why it has a rez.
