It's not a bug of any kind. It's just simply network latency and computer lag errors. For some reason your client misses the cue to play the animation. It happens to any power (especially noticeable on long animation powers). Nothing to worry about, it just happens, and is fairly unavoidable.
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
Thats not what I am experiencing. If I cue up the attack out of range so that my toon is in the fighting stance, the assassin power animates correctly every time. Also, a year ago I leveled up a dark stalker to 50 and this animation bug NEVER happened even one time. Something has changed with recent patches I believe.

The animation for Assassins Eclipse in the Dark Melee stalker set is broken. About half of the time (more so on teams), when I use the power, my toon just stands there as the power fires off. On teams it looks like I am just standing there doing nothing. Has anybody else seen this and is there a fix for this? If not, the Devs need to fix this right away as in my mind it is game breaking for a power's animation not work at all.
