Anything on the right doesn't work, at first...
I have something similar. Since we got the Pop Up Exclamation Points (which I immediately turn off) I have a thin dead along the right on my monitor. Its in the middle edge between the top and the bottom corners.
It's right where I have a vertical Power Tray and I can't access the lower 6 icons unless I drag the whole tray over a little bit. I can then drag my tray back and ever thing is hunky dory.
Turn them on.
Move them over slightly, and up if they block your normal trays.
Turn them off.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
Something similar, sure, but I only see it when I'm trying to *place* stuff (and then in extra trays above the normal ones.) That last slot on the right sometimes refuses to take anything unless I move the trays over.
This happens to me as well, I just need to actually click the window (i have it set up 6x2) so i click the far left of the window. It does Not seem to do it to my newer toons, just toons that were made before the pop up window came into effect.
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
Am I the only one with this problem? When I first log on to any character, I can click on something on the far right of any bar, such as insps or powers and it just doesn't take.

I leave pophelp on with a bunch of unread messages so I know where the window is.
The invisible pophelp window is sitting on top of your trays. Clicking on a window away from the right edge will bring it above the pophelp window; alternatively, you can drag the pophelp window to a less offensive location.

Why doesn't the pophelp window cease to exist, instead of sitting around invisibly? That's mildly annoying.

Had the same thing.
Got it working again as you've said, saved my settings and applied those settings to my toons. Problems gone away after that

Hopefully it's something that can be addressed in the future, though.
Fortunately as my window proportions are set to 90% and I have a large screen, none of that stuff overlaps. But I can see how that would be frustrating.
Wow, really? I've been having this too and it frustrates me no end -- my travel power and primary toggle defenses are usually to the right side of my power trays, and those are just about the first things I try to turn on when I launch.

Wow. I can't believe the window area still shows up and blocks mouse clicks when that function is turned off. That's not really well implemented IMHO.

One of my recent complaints about it:
....one issue that's been annoying the heck out of me is the darned Pop help interface.
Yes, I know there are already options to disable the Pop help, but all it actually does is make the interface invisible. It's still on the screen and blocks other windows that might be "under" it. For example, I have a vertical power tray on the right side of my screen for various temp powers, but clicking the powers does absolutely nothing because the invisible pop help is actually blocking them.. until I click higher above to bring focus to that window first. |
Anyway, the easiest solution I've found is to drag the Pop Help to the upper-left corner of the screen and then do a /wdwsave. Using /wdwload on any other character (and on new toons) will hide the window behind the map (if that's where your map is) and never cause an issue anymore.
Thanks for this thread. I have been dealing with this problem for some time now and never knew it was the invisible pophelp window causing it. Now I can finally fix it for good.
Am I the only one with this problem? When I first log on to any character, I can click on something on the far right of any bar, such as insps or powers and it just doesn't take.
But if I click and drag on any other icon and drop it in that slot, it will then work fine. So then I click and drag things back where they were originally, and it's not a problem. As well, it is all fixed if I drag one icon, then they are all fixed. Insps, powers everything. Strangely it doesn't happen all the time. But recently I wasn't able to use a power and I face-planted because of it. Anyone else have this issue? |
Thanks for the replies all, great help.
