DM/INV build, lvl 34: help needed!

Allright,
what I'm going to show is the current build of my DM/Inv scrapper, as I found her after years of absence.
As you'll notice, it's prior issue 19 (I was playing in 2006), so Fitness is *not* inherent for her.

After the advice I got here, I'm planning to take all the powers in the INV set.
From DM, I think I'll skip Confront only.
This said, what's the best way to proceed? In the specific:

1. Once I have decided the powers, when it's better to respec? Now or later? (I have a free respec + the untouched second build)
2. Are there problems with the slots? (I'm a little worried about those 6 slots in Unyielding.. too many? What about the 4 slots on Hasten? Any other problems I'm not seeing?)
3. Darkness Mastery would work well with this character concept.. are those powers decent and would they fit this build? And: would I be ok without conserve power?

On top of this I'm still learning about the IO's @.@

Use a respec or use your second build. It doesn't matter which.

First thing is you definitely don't want to four-slot Hasten. Three slots at the most, and two if you have a very high Recharge build. As for the rest of the slots placed so far, won't really know how much they'll help you out until you place some goodies in em'.

You'll be fine without Conserve Power or Physical Perfection. The main thing you'll need to do is just be aware of your Endurance bar and use a blue Inspiration as needed. Slot with Endurance Reduction in mind and that will get you far. At level 50 you can then get the Cardiac Alpha boost to give you more breathing room, as it were. The blasts in Darkness Mastery aren't that good, but you can place some great IO sets within the APP's various powers.

More about Conserve Power and Physical Perfection: Dark Consumption will likely make them unnecessary. It really is that good.

A bit of info on what you want to do would help us suggest things for the build. Basically, how do you like to play? You want to face tough bosses/elite bosses mano a mano? Jump into large spawns and just see seas of enemies? Chase high level mobs or are you happy sticking to mobs your level? All that, just a feel of how you like to play.

(would help to have enhancements) Not sure why you didn't show what enhancements you have, plan to have.

As far as a leveling build advice: I would say make sure you slot for endurance reduction. I would drop shadow punch. I find that in low levels having Siphon Life, Smite and Shadow Maul give me enough attacks to use to not need/want shadow punch.

Here is a leveling build I threw together using my experience with my DM/invuln leveling. I tried to put the slots in when I thought I would do it in game. The actual IO levels really do not matter, but the IO sets are rather cheap and I avoided rare IOs so that the crafting would be cheap as well. This is pretty much what my toon looked like when it was leveling.

Once you get to 50, you can start putting more expensive sets in because these are all the powers, in the same place as my final build. I just move slots around for different bonuses.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Here's the cheapest build I have that has the survivability to do the careless jumping around. It has low recharge, so your attack chain will likely have to include Fire Blast (not a bad power actually):

It'll be more expensive, but it will still not use any purples (the very rare "purple" inventions are by far the most expensive, the others are somewhat easier to acquire, specially if you do the new - new for you - morality mission tips and collect hero merits that way).

Both you and Aliana avoided Touch of Fear and Unstoppable... Can I ask you why? Just a preference or those powers are horrible?


More questions:
1. Aliana's build doesn't come with a travel power.. what did I miss here? In my build I took super jump at lvl 14...

2. Both the builds you posted use Blaze Mastery. Problem is that fire that doesn't fit my Ypsilon at all...
I'm very attached to her personality/bio, and I prefer to be less offensive/less good... than having powers that don't fit her.

She's all about Invulnerability... or dark powers.
This is why I was thinking of Darkness Mastery.

Would it be possible to replace the Blaze Mastery powers with these, leaving the rest as it is, or would it need more changes about the rest of powers?
