This is the third thread about this, and it's just that: a rumor. Please check the forum first.
EDIT: Also what the hell, who decided to write that? It's not even an article on what might happen, it's just a big post asking for speculation. This is not news, my friend. That's a blogger looking for hits. Please take care to read carefully next time.

I did search the forum and I did not find a thread about this. Not saying it's not there, just saying that I did search and didn't find it.

Actually Nexon is close to Blizzard in terms of sales. That's pretty impressive for an item shop only source of income. Of course Nexon sales in the US as a percentage is as bad or worse than NCSoft's.
I also found it interesting that even though it started in Korea, it's corporate offices are in Japan and they are listed on the Tokyo stock exchange and not Korea's.

Wait, NCSoft are closing City of Heroes in order to shave a few million off their books to try and level out their piss poor finances...and yet some morons seriously believed they'd be able to front up just under a billion for Valve?
When those two names are placed next to each other, it's Valve buying NCSoft, not the other way around.

Joongang News reported that on September 26th, NCSoft, Nexon and Valve met in Hawaii and discussed merging. They reportedly offered Valve US$893 Million for the merger.
Rather than deny the report a Valve spokesman merely said that it was a rumor.
