I think it's a technical limitation. There is a server script that can be run that turns on Dbl XP for a weekend... there probably isn't one to alter it full time. In order to make that change, they might need Dev or Engineer time that simply doesn't exist anymore.

Just a guess.

Sure can; posted it in jest to begin with. Just though it would be cool to have this invasion really whipe us out. I dont wanna die by the hands of "the man." (Something like on Star Trek: Next Gen when they meet Q for the first time - except permanent).

I am taking the Day Off for 30NOV.

I plan on having my 1st L50, the White Comet (Fire/Kin Troller), patrolling The Hollows when/if the Sky go dark.

I don't believe this is true. There was at least one time where 2xp was extended into weekdays (I believe through a wednesday) because one server crashed during 2xp. So the script IS there for activating it during weekdays. Besides, I'd be really curious if its anything more than typing in a date to activate it and end it, since the game has no reason to have any coding that seperates "weekdays" from "weekends."

I'm not shooting the messenger, but this finally gets me to say F@$! NCsoft. They can't even let it go THROUGH Friday the 30th, knowing that Friday night many more people are able to stay on and play through the closing without having to work the next morning?


Seriously. They have zero customer relations common sense. F@$! them and every product they ever make from here on out.

What's the word on the Weekly Strike Targets? I believe the schedule only went to the end of this month.

If there's any chance we can do requests for it, please please please, no 45-50 WSTs. The WST is a great leveling tool, so if we're going to bow out but still let folks push to 50 to check out everything, it'd be better to have the WSTs be like Penelope Yin, Imperious, Moonfire/Renault, etc. And for gods' sakes, no Numina/Eden/Mistral!! :P

I am usually up late on Fridays so this is a good thing. Once it gets closer I think Titan Networks will probably try to organize something for the last night of CoH....as we know it...for now
