The end is just a new beginning, Goodbye all my coh friends and even the enemies, its been a blast I will miss you all. Thank you Paragon team, you gave me a home from home I will always appriciate it.

No crying here. A bit surprised, but not totally stunned.

The timing is weird for me though. I started playing CoH just after Hurricane Gustav, when I was staying at a friend's house because I didn't have power. I just found out about the closure while I am staying at a friends house due to not having power, because of Hurricane Isaac.

my family has been pretty supportive of me so far, my parents (neither of which are gamers and always thought it was just a game) are at least being there for me, every time they have told me it was "just a game" i almost always got angry with them about it, i always said i was playing with poeple

this game is a social network for me, and without it i dont know what ill do, i despise FB too much to use them so ill prolly just stick to steam/skype in terms of socializing

Reading all the stuff from other people has me tearing up occasionally but the game had become super repetitive for me.

I'll seriously miss the community though, what's horrible is I'll likely not see any of you around other games to hang out with so I'll wonder where you all are.
I need to fix Zombie Man with an Arcanaville Tracker so I can find another quality MMO...

Me.

I used the game as a social network and a way to help me get over some social anxiety and other junk. I'm just so devastated. I mean, I didn't lose my job or anything but I'm still so sad and so angry.

I've been running around taking screen caps of everything I can think of. I have the skills of an artist so I can always draw my toons and drop them into the appropriate background and dream.

I've been thinking of making a tumblr with my art and and screen caps so that at least in some way their world continues.
