Who is/was Primal Earth's "well"? Prometheus mentioned "he" is foolish.

Quote:I remember this. My account was one of the ones flagged with dev/cs powers. I teleported myself (a villain) to a friend who was in Steel's Icon and got owned. This happened on the Training Room when server transfers were being tested. Good stuff. Good stuff. As for a couple "Cool Story, Bro" moments ...
- I don't remember if was when Training Room (Public Test Server) was used a BETA space or the Beta Realm was available, but I remember (cue wavy-flashback FX) ... it seems that for one test cycle, certain accounts on that realm were marked "Developer" or, at least, "Customer Support," which opened up a whole tree of slash-commands to which most players will never get access. Normal player characters were able to do things like change their current model (in-game avatar), access ALL of the costume pieces in the Tailor and move to a user name. That means players who were on Villain side (Rogue Isles) could 'move to' another character no matter where they were. There were cases of people in Steel Canyon's Icon suddenly being visited by level 50 Villain players who would STOMP! YERDEADLOLZ!. I believe there was a patch (hotfix) within an hour.
- The second one was back when the Lady Grey Task Force was being tested, it appeared there was a condition that when completed the LGTF, some characters (I don't think it was account-wide) had some sort of authbit flipped which gave them access to the ripped Union Jack cape that The Honoree has. Too bad that wasn't ever implemented. That would be a cool reward. Last time I checked, I still had that cape on one of my toons on PTR/Training Room.
*sighs* Good times. -
Wir haben nie die chance gehabt mal zu plaudern, wuensche dir aber trotzdem alles gute auf deinem weg.

Thank you for all the great conversations on beta, Net. You were my "floating in Atlas arms crossed" buddy for the last 1 1/2 years. That's right, this guy survived 1 1/2 years of my ramblings and nonsense. He deserves some kind of award for that
GV -
Indeed. Thank you Synapse, Arbiter Hawk. And a personal thank you to Synapse for answering my PMs and putting up with me.

Not cried yet. I've only just read the announcement (I'm always late, darn it!) but I'm sure it's coming once it truly sinks in.
Edit: And I finally got a freaking FPARN! *waves to Net* -
Quote:Oh dear god. This. What the hell Paragon?I'm annoyed that the Double XP Boosters went Live - but only until the 30th.
Epic fail, Paragon.
You should have at least given some sort of heads up that Double XP Boosters would be on the market this week.
That way people could have possibly financially planned ahead of time. It's not in my budget this next week to buy it, so huge fail Paragon Studios. Next time maybe try to advertise when something like that will be hitting the market - you always advertise double XP weekends.
Whatever. -
Quote:Don't forget the Talons of Vengeance with their waistcapes. Want plx!Two of the most-requested costume piece sets for the last two years (at least) have been Carnies and Sibyls. One we now have at least a few pieces for, the other remains conspicuously missing.
The most-used explanation why we can't (or don't) have Sibyl costume pieces has been the fear of multiple cape rigs interfering with game performance and/or server stability. In the distant past, this was a valid concern; I remember when Hami raids pretty much required characters to have a raid outfit without capes or auras, due to the crushing lag. But now processing power is leagues ahead, both on servers and home computers, and it might just be time.
On this approach, I couldn't help but notice the proliferation of waistcapes throughout i22 Dark Astoria. We've got mobs of enemies sporting them, across multiple factions of baddies. Now, I personally wonder if the sudden spike in these waistcapes is really just a sneaky way of testing how the game will handle multiple cape rigs in larger numbers than the handful of Sibyls and Widows we've seen them on so far. -
I would like to see Lunge moved to level 1 (unchanged otherwise), Barb Swipe's damage/recharge/endurance modified to account for it's longer animation and moved to level 2 and finally shorten Spine Burst's animation.
-
Tunnel Rat, could we please get a simple transparency aura? Such as Numina and Diabolique's? No FX, just transparency.
GV -
Extremely disappointing. But hey, next week can only be better, right? Right?!
-
Still no Carnival of Light pack?
-
A buttcape! Sort of. Finally. I like the pack.

I personally don't care about clipping. So many pieces ALREADY clip. There are many costumes where a "waist"cape would not clip. I say leave it to us to be creative with it. Capes and long hair anyone?
-
-
Adding my voice to this. Want the longer "skirt" option, the little cape, the collar, the pope hat and whatnot. All of it please and let us worry about the clipping, which is already so rampant with so many pieces.

It's a passive auto-power, you can't drag it onto your power tray regardless. Shouldn't crash your game though.
-
This has been happening to the new characters I created on Exalted. The zone becomes completely fogged, no weird pattern.
-
I'm surprised they haven't fixed this yet. I discovered this back in beta and spoke to TheNet about it. Ouch indeed.

I've had this happen to my Brute about two weeks ago.
