We all should keep in touch somehow. Ideally we could meet in the next superhero mmo.
An obvious place to keep in touch is Facebook or some other social media outlet.

You all have been the best, and I can't begin to say how much I will miss all of you. It's always so joyous to log in and see people on the channels and then run the TFs and trials, that lets face it we had down cold. I will so miss the the themed events we were always doing and the great team spirit we all had.
These were great times, so sorry to see them go.
I am going to try the other superhero games but I don't hold out hope for them. This was more than just a game engine and a theme. It was really great people and I will miss you all.
It's been one hell of a ride. There's a rumor going round that the Forums may be shut down as early as next Tuesday. I seriously hope that isn't the case.

I have been looking into the "secret societies / conspiracy" MMO, and am still awaiting patiently for that FTP online mecha game coming soon.
Nothing official except "no elves".

They've lifted the ban on talking about other video games. You can talk about DCU and CO and all that.
Unfortunately for me, I don't even like comic books. I played this game for the mechanics. I've been around more than once and I've never seen an MMO that managed to balance customization and difficulty like this one could.
Ever sense Everquest: OA there's never been a point in time where I've thought about quitting MMOs entirely, but I'm sure as hell there right now.

Protector is what made me stick with the game through good times and bad. When I was all alone in China, I knew I had family that I could talk to when I was feeling all alone on the other side of the world. I don't want to lose that.

That is the question. isnt it. As I type this with tears flowing down my face I realize that as a community we should make some sort of effort to survive this.
Alot of people are going to be fighting to keep the game alive, and I do hope they succeed. But I think we should all make preperations to keep in touch somehow, either in another MMO or social chat or something.
It's fine if I'm not even welcome there. But Protector has a awesome community, one that needs to survive this.
So, I put out the call. Where do we all go now?
