Yeah, I would jump ship from Aion. It really isnt that good of a game anyways from what I'm hearing. And I've also heard it's gone F2P and knowing NCsoft that is pretty much a death mark for a NA game.
Also, I wouldnt be investing in Blood & Souls either, or whatever that NCsoft martial arts MMO is.
If something like that interests you, I would look at Age of Wushu or Age of Wulin.
I think 2013 is going to be a very bad year for NCsoft, and it's deservedly so. -
The should be, their game is next.

Yeah, I had a feeling we would be seeing something like this sooner or later. NCSoft can suck it. Screw Guild Wars 2, and screw any other projects those ******* put out.
I really hope that I get to see NCSoft go under in the near future. Let those jackbags lose their jobs. -
Tried out Fallen Earth during it's Beta and liked it. It wasnt 100% polished at the time but I liked the idea of the game. Hopefully it's developing into something good. Anything that can take away from Guild Wars 2 gets my vote.

That is the question. isnt it. As I type this with tears flowing down my face I realize that as a community we should make some sort of effort to survive this.
Alot of people are going to be fighting to keep the game alive, and I do hope they succeed. But I think we should all make preperations to keep in touch somehow, either in another MMO or social chat or something.
It's fine if I'm not even welcome there. But Protector has a awesome community, one that needs to survive this.
So, I put out the call. Where do we all go now? -
On protector it's kinda scarce to get people to run the Mag's trial to unlock Hybrid now a days. And I have a bazillion 50s left to unlock it. So, any alternate ways to unlock Hybrid on route?

As long as there are good storys to tell about Paragon City the game will have life in it.
There is finally, one other MMO that has the storytelling ability that this one has.
However a bunch of drunking half dead monkeys appear to be doing the coding for that MMO, so it may end up dead before it's even had a chance to catch on.
City of Heroes will always have a big place in my heart. It's nowhere near the first MMO I've played, but it has been the best. -

However, upon coming back from vacation over the holidays I discovered that my house had became infested with fleas, and one of my 2 indoor cats got really sick and almost died. I just want to go on record saying that I hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE the fact that Statesman is getting killed off. I'm not going to let it sour the arc for me or anything. But I'm one of the very rare people in game who are pro Statesman. Always have been, always will be.
And lets not even start about that chump Praetorian wannabe filling in for him.

To make yourself a real presence in the world, you've got to get some kind of support base in the world, a chain of islands is not looking too shabby. So, mad dash scramble to usurp Arachnos' power. Recluse dies.
Thereby, giving both heroes and villains the same sort of possible position. -

I don't frequent the forums as much as I used to. Between work and the silly season and all. Not that I'm saying the devs need to do more to communicate with us. I mean, what can one expect. I like the devs and all, but they cant be calling us to let us know new stuff is on the way.
At least the solo stuff is in the works and not just something they've talked about. -

Because these itrials totally blow. I would love to get a grasp on the story but faceplanting over and over just does not appeal to me.
The new trials are not fun, in any way, shape, or form. So where's our solo content. Or give us something that's at least beatable.
Really dont want to turn this into a rant or flamefest, but I'm sure everyone and their kid brother is gonna say. Well, we can win the trials.
Just keep those posts to yourself please, dont want to hear them. What I would like to hear is a ETA on something that I dont have to join a group of 24 to fail on.

I'm not sure I'm getting the value of this. So we earn or purchase something that allows us to play russian roulette with our enhancements?
Guess the value is just escaping me. No offense anyone, and more things are always better. Just not seeing the value here. If I buy a IO enhancement, I bought the best one for my character, why would I want to randomly change it to something else?
Not trying to be hasty, I just dont understand.

One themed costume set I have wanted for a LOOOOOOONNNNG time is just the skeletal frame.
Like out of those old Sinbad movies. Where the Skeleton has a sword and shield and you can see through it and stuff. Surely the art department could come up with something like that. Been asking for it for years. -
Well folks, and by folks I mean developers. If you were trying to make the Keyes trial easier for folks I think ya failed.
Pre trial change I was 8 for 8 on the Keyes, didnt really mind it all that much.
Since the change, 0 for 4. That's right. Havent been on a successful Keyes trial yet since the change. I'm not saying my server hasnt had one, that I dont know. But I havent won one and now wont be participating in any Keyes runs in the future.
Seems AM still heals when you die from disintergration, wasnt that suppose to be removed?
The final fight with AM seems like a exercise in futility now. At one point (Not during his regeneration) I watched his health shoot up from around 55% to well over 70%.
One time when I died from disintergration I watched his health shoot up quite a bit, was too busy swearing to notice the percentage, but it was quite a bit.
So I'm done with Keyes. That pretty much limits me to BAF and Lambda again, great. Just great. -

In all seriousness though folks. There are several people on these forums that just have seemed to take it upon themselves to become the morality police and comment on every post in every thread.
Check out a certain someone's comment following mine concerning Tyrant, or a comment posted in the gameplay/tech forum that a certain other poster felt belonged everywhere.
If your not going to contribute to the conversation, leave the monitoring of the forums to the people who get paid to do it.
And of course, now I add myself to that group. KEEP THE JELLY ON THE SANDWICH!

I imagine getting a breakdown would be better, but a Sidegrade would be awesome.
Some of our incarnates have boosts that we no longer want or need. It's just a matter of fact.
My Crab has switched over from Musculature to Cardiac for her Alpha. Now I'm stuck with all these spent threads and shards that I can not use.....
Please give us a way to break them down into threads, some people would love to be able to convert boosts within a tier. Like from Cardiac Alpha to Spiritual Alpha or so on. But I think a thread breakdown on boosts would be much easier.
And a tier 1 boost better not only be worth like 4 threads either. Considering it takes 60 threads to make. Give us at least 1/3 of that. I'd be happier with 1/2. But we can debate that after something is in place.... -

Not all villains have to be chainsaw wielding maniacs.
Emperor Marcus Cole is a villain. The saying "The Road to hell is paved with good intentions" has never been more true then it has been for him.
Cole could EASILY come to us and ask us to help him, or join forces with him. But instead he sees our freedom as a weakness, which means that those of us who have superpowers must die, or submit, those who are the common folks, must be saved. Saved from us, saved from the evils of our world, and saved from themselves. And if they do not want that, well, Marcus has a powerful psionic who will be more then happy to change their minds. -
Question is, when are they going to fix it.
