When CoH first launched I got home from work (had an early shift that day), ran quickly to Hastings (2 blocks from my old apartment) and bought the game. I then plugged in all the account information crap and began my first character creation. (my main..never deleted..first of mine to 50) Now my coworker didn't get off until 4 hours after me. He wanted us to start playing at the same time so we could keep the same pace. So what does this all mean? I spent more than an hour in the tutorial goofing off and freezing things and blowing crap around with gale. Did I kill 100 contaminated? No..I probably killed a crapload more than that! And yeah..bitterness arises from the non-datamining.

Again..my coworker and I spent our free time reading about this game, playing with the character planners in great anticipation of this game. We'd created backstories and everything. (Yes, it was a slow dull boring job and I'm glad I'm done with college)

Isolator is the only badge my main never got the chance to earn. I could have deleted yes..I could have deleted the 600+ hours of memories and accomplishments I'd already gained with him. But I didn't. Is it my fault for not wanting to throw that away and make a new main? One who wasn't already equipped to work on dmg/healing/holding/etc with his primary/secondary powers (yes, I'm one of the lucky few that doesn't have to dip into pool powers to grab badges).? Yeah, I suppose it is my fault for not deleting.

You know what else is great...I never did half the task forces when I was first leveling up either. They were still bugged and wouldn't allow people to complete them. But guess what, I got a chance to get them. That's all I'm asking for.

p.s. -- I also want Eochai to raid PI again because that was some damn good fun.

Actually one might be able to look at temp powers. They can't be traded and can only be had by launching said missle. This would then at least give people something who had their timer reset.

Actually funny story. Before I5 (probably before i4 in reality--long before badges either way because I was awarded the souvenir) I did some SSTF's on my fire controller. Now..He's not my badge toon so I continued on my merry way and made an alt. Then one day (after the badges went live and we were told they weren't datamining for these) I log on and voila! I'm awarded badges for doing the SSTF's.

Anyone wanna take a guess at how that happened? Because unless it's a bug, I was awarded them by datamining...

As for the rocketman...I did 5 petitioned and before I left the zone had the badge in my posession. A fellow sg member however, just did his 10 and was told by the GM's that he has in fact done 0. That right there amazes me since he did a few recently. Even if it had been reset, he would show at least the three he had done that day...

But..before they add new badges in i7, I'd like them to fix current ones (like they finally did for the SSTF's and Honorary PB -- There's 5 of the 10-12 he listed) or at least assure us that no bars are going to be reset.

I hope the best of luck to you all when dealing with the GM's. So far I only have trouble when it comes to bugged missions.

Just picked up Rocketman the other day after launching 5 rockets (2 one week, 3 about a week and a half later). The badge was not awarded right away but I petitioned after launching the 5th and had a GM award it to me as I was leaving the zone.

Cuppa, and the rest of the DEV's...I realize that you may not want to give us a list of badges so that we have to discover them on our own. However, can you put a section on the forums (like in the For Fun section) that is dedicated solely to badges and info. This would then give us a standard place to discuss them, spots for hunting them, strategies, etc...Because honestly right now, our only option is to sort through a crapload of posts, look over pieces of penciled paper, or rely on out-dated websites. Please?

Oh, and as for Shadow Shard TF's..Love the new badges, however, I miss the fact you can get the souvenirs. I always liked their little stories that went with them.

Basically everything else I wanted to say was already posted like badge size, progress bars, etc...but keep the 1billion ones...That looks fun

Well..I must say I'm sooooo overjoyed to find out about the lack of speed boost from travel/end. I just used my last respec and then watch my friend fly past me. And here I thought the HO's would provide an actual boost. :'( Don't suppose I can get my respec back so I can be at the fly cap again...
