Recluse is Classic
I'm very disappointed in this thread. I was expecting you to post something awesome he said as an example, but sadly there was none.

I thought he was going to get whacked by the 18th, but I guess not.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Unlike the Statesman and Sister Psyche, Lord Recluse is an important character.
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be

Have you seen his old henchman costumes? Class isn't the word that comes to mind. In fact, it's about two letters too long.

Admittedly, I am not the best guesser when it comes to this stuff.

total kick to the gut
This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.
Seriously, every word out of the mouth of Dr. Aeon is immediately quote-worthy.

It drains super-powers, but instead of simply making them go away like the clumsy spells of the Mu, it transfers them. YES! Oh, you'll have quite a time stopping Recluse's plans, once he controls the power of every meta-human on Earth! And all because of my meta-human scientific genius! Ah-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-WAAAit a second! If he gets every meta-human ability...
Then he'd get my... I'd be just.. Uh-oh! You've got to stop him! |

CLS?
You see him and you want to clear your screen?
fixt.

I agree!

Obviously, Lord Recluse was an avid watcher of Stargate SG-1. After hearing Anubis' over-the-top dialog, and Jack O'Neill's reaction to it ("Come on, who talks like that???"), he made a conscious decision to never be that kind of villain.
All hail Lord Recluse!
The heroes are doomed!
More like you handed him his helmet and he was like:
"lol cool, want a promotion?"
Recluse don't give a ****.
Recluse and the Patrons were always my favorite characters in this game.
IDGAF about the Phalanx.

I've always loved Recluse. That's why I don't play villain side a lot. My characters don't live up to his awesomeness. Statesman always bugged me a little though, so I'm glad Positron is in charge now. Reading the Freedom Phalanx novel it seemed like he always should have been in charge to begin with.

Seriously, every word out of the mouth of Lord Recluse is immediately quote-worthy. When I first saw the guy, I figured he'd be one of those "The world will fall before my evilness. Die, fool!" sorts, but the guy's full of class and assertive confidence! Silly blueside-only dweebs would listen to his propaganda in Grandville and assume he's Darkety McDarkdark, but that's their loss, I suppose.
So hey, here's to Lord Recluse! *Raises eight glasses*
