Really though someone who insists on being referred to as "lord" may as well call himself big man. Same effect. You think he's compensating for a small ovipositor?
I like his dialogue from the future in the patron arcs.
Ghost Widow's one, for example...
Before combat: "I stand now in my Triumph! Destroyer of Statesman! Ruler of the world!"
Combat start: "10 years ago you disappeared, and at that moment I knew this day would come."
"Now you will die, 'Destined One'!"
75% Health: "Your powers are nothing compared to my own!"
50% Health: "You have angered me, Character! You will suffer for it!"
25% Health: "I will not fall! Not against you!"
Defeated: "I am Lord Recluse!"
"It is impossible!"
"I cannot be defeated like this..."
Defeats player: "You were nothing to be afraid of. NOTHING!"

I feel a little sorry for Recluse. I mean... you have Portal Corp going to ALL these other dimensions, and not in a single one of them has Recluse apparently taken over the world. Hell, the Clockwork King managed to do so, but Lord Recluse? Naaaaa. In fact, even his Praetorian version was slaughtered at the Well of Furies by Cole.
I wonder if he EVER managed to succeed in any alternate dimension. I find that most of the Dimensions are populated by alternate versions of Cole. Trolololol. I'm looking at you Tyrant and Reichsman.

They were originally "This child needs your help" videos, but his 4 co-workers told him it wasn't helping his image, and convinced him to change them.
I don't see Statesman doing that.

My pet theory is that Primal Earth is an anomaly in regards to the alignments of Stefan and Marcus. In short, other alternates of Stefan are good guys that won't kill faced against a Marcus that will (and then go on to marry your sister)
That's classic chew-the-scenery villainy.
