The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.
Yeah there hasn't been a patch in about a week.

As a follow up, all the people apprently fled Nova Paretoria when Mother Mayhem was destroyed, and the Seers were no longer there to monitor them - without the loyalist though police, it seems that the people weren't quite so happy with the shining "utopia" after all

Belladona Vetrano has a new Incarnate story arc, followed by a Tyrant personal story mission, both of which are used to set up the Trial and explain why the 3 AVs are there with Tyrant during his last stand - and there are also several PPD and named loyalist NPCs who change to the right side during the arc.
EDIT: The bagde for completing the Tyrant Trial is called "Enemy of the State" - which sound suitably heroic

Oooh, and Imperial City is still standing at the end.
...Granted, it may be filled with toxic dust. But the rest of Praetoria still stands.
Until the Devouring Earth pour in through the broken sonic barriers, BUT STILL.

Which broken sonic barriers? The undamaged ones on the far side of the water from Nova Praetoria that are powered by the undamaged reactors in Neutropolis that we control?
|
...But I'm talking about the ones behind Cole's Tower.
...Also, honestly, it's not as if they can actually stop the Devouring Earth anyway. That's up to US!
Do we whack cole at the end of this trial?

I think G_Savior meant did we kill Tyrant or just "arrest" him?
Chimera is definitively mentioned as being dead by the Red Floating Text of fourth-wallness, but I don't recall for sure about the rest of them.

If Masterminds didn't suck, they'd be the most powerful AT in the game.
But he got his original powers from drinking from the Well - it's not totally clear if he'd get to keep those or not.

It doesn't necessarily mean he's literally dead, just incapacitated.
.
Going by the way his level collapses at the end, it's possible that we've not only removed him as the champion of the Well, but that we've also totally removed all his powers - like we've reduced him to being a normal human again.

As a random note: I'd say the situation doesn't look too bad for Praetoria. After a trial run I looked around passed the blue barriers and all the other buildings outside of Nova seem intact and okay.
Neuron's tower was definitely still up.

IIRC, all it says is his "dead man's switch" has been activated.

Here it is, just checked the archive of the live stream to be sure. The exact phrase is "Chimera's death triggers a dead man's switch!"
