I've just seen a staff leaking?

I was encountering some Tsoo in one of the first DA arcs and some guardian type chap runs up to me and starts trying to assault me with his pole (might have been a latvian, it was dark and difficult to tell.)

Is this WAI or is Staff Fighting leaking somehow?

I think certain mobs just have the staff power set. I think it's the "Ancestor Guardian" Tsoo mobs that have it...but I also noticed it too

You mean an NPC? Yeah, some of them have Staff Fighting. Much like how Cimerorans had shields before we got them, it's completely WAI.

What a surprise! Staff fighting isn't even on the market yet and already we know that the devs will be charging us twice: once for staff fighting and again for staff leak sealant. I'm sure it'll be a consumable, no less: don't forget to apply liberally each mission or your floppy bo will be about as deadly as a furyless tanker. Who called it before freedom was announced? Me. Another slap in the face.

And what exactly was leaking out of it? Blood? Oil? Some nameless, vaguely disturbing ooze we'd rather not know more about?

Details please.

This could be important.

yes, some of the new Tsoo bosses have staff fighting. It's not really a leak, though I am a bit annoyed we're still waiting for SF. Speaking of which, anyone know why Beast Mastery came out before SF when SF was announced well in advance of BM being known about?

So how do you want to be done? Medium, Well or Extra Crispy?

Because they started working on Beast Mastery before Staff Fighting.

How do I know this?

The 4 legged rig appeared as early as the Halloween Event. They obviously developed the 4 legged rig before then, and they would not have gone to that effort if there were not a powerset in the works that makes use of it. The devs would not do the work of creating an entirely new skeleton if it was only going to be used for a couple vanity pets and a buyable travel power.

Staff Fighting was announced because someone stumbled across the demo files for the animations and leaked them. Seems they didn't see the point of denying it when it was known the animations were already in the game. Had that not happened, I'm guessing Staff Fighting would not have been announced as early as it was.

I recommend seeing a doctor if you have a problem with staff leaking.

Not to side-track from what is sure to be a cavalcade of bad jokes, but I really hope that when Staff Fighting goes live, there are some extra animations...

Oh, it's not leaking, it's WAI. Dream Doctor's powersets are Staff Fighting/Illusion Control. And here's me wanting a Staff Fighting/Empathy toon ever since I4. Dagnabbit.

Also, I want to play with my shinny hard staff with a knob at the end.

Yes. A staff infection is nothing to take lightly.

I always heard this was a sign of staph infection as opposed to staff fighting.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

Can I just apply a "That's what SHE said!" to the entire thread?

When I read the title, I admit my first thought was "I recommend penicillin."

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.
