How do YOU spend 2XP Weekends?

We have a double xp weekend coming up next month (the first I'll be able to enjoy in a while). I'm planning on leveling several lowbies that have gotten stuck in ruts as well as pushing for 50 on one toon.

How do YOU use your time on double xp weekends? Do you level the lowbies, push on to 50 or something in between?

I will most likely be playing lowbies. The only character I have in range of level 50 (17 bars away) I hope to have at 50 by the time that weekend comes around. I have a month after all!

I have 3 or 4 characters in the 20s and 30s that I hope to get a few levels on.

It varies, depending on who I'm working on at the time...

This time around? I currently have about half-a-dozen characters in their 40's. I'd like to get at least a few of them to 50.

My highest level character (and namesake) is at level 48. I'll be pushing for my first 50.

I spend them in a very similar way to my other weekends

Last time, I got all my characters who didn't have their SOs yet up to 22. The time before that, I focused entirely on one character to see how far I could push him in two days (mid-30s, it turned out, and I've barely touched him since). And before those, I mostly just treated 'em like normal weekends where I levelled more'n average. So it really just depends on my mood, and what's in my stable.

This time around...hard to say. I have a lot of general lowbies I'd like to boost up again by this point, but I also have a particular interest in building up a Dark/Dark Dominator rather quickly. It'll depend on whether I decide to go Premium, as well, since that'd mean I'd be stabling a lot of my characters, including most of the aforementioned lowbies anyway.

I only play my level 50s on DXP weekends.

I'm a Dominator (43), a Peacebringer (36), and a Widow (30) away from having a 50 for every AT. I'll be making pushes on those guys.

I will 50 a character. Either one on the very back burner, or a new concept. Or I will jump on a few of my 35+ that are stalled and creep them up. Depends on my mood/inspiration that week.

Heh, I don't think I was ever the "target audience" for the 2XP weekends. The only thing I ever seriously used them for was for power-farming for the top 'Leader' Influence badges back when you had to earn 2 billion INF to get them. I always hated to "gold farm" but the idea of getting double-credit for it made it worthwhile for those short periods.

Ever since I finished those badges several years ago I don't really use the weekends at all. I've never really been one for wanting to rush though leveling up characters. To each their own I guess. *shrugs*

Last 2xp weekend, I ran a character through all 6 Freedom Phalanx TFs. It's was great; I started at lvl 12 or so, and managed to hit the level needed for the next TF in the current one.

This time? Like Rosa, I'm a few ATs shy of getting a 50 in each one; I need a Peacebringer (16), a Stalker (18), and a Bane(15). I'll be working on those and other lower levels that weekend.

Double xp is meh. Double inf is win.

Usually, what I do on double XP weekends is try to make a push to Lv. 50 on a character that's close to it. Right now the closest character I have to Lv 50 is Bluebolt Psi, an Elec/Mental Blaster, currently at Lv. 38. I've also got a Lv. 33 Dark/Stone Brute that might get some attention, too.

I spent my last 2XP weekend base building.

I can't honestly say for sure whether I'll make any better use of this next one.

I suppose that I'll be leveling a new character assuming i22 goes live beforehand (which seems likely), so I'll probably take advantage of it for that.

Depends on what powersets have recently been made available. If something really good drops right before 2XP (I'm looking at you, Staff Fighting), I tend to make one of those. Otherwise, I spend that time on stuff that's annoying to solo, because it tends to be even easier to find teams during 2XP.

(I used to skip 2XP weekends altogether, because the servers just couldn't handle the load, and I couldn't handle the constant lag and rubber-banding. It's amazing how far server optimization has come since the bad old days.)

If Staff Melee is made available by then, I'll be making sure to try to get that to 50

I often take a day for a toon, and push them as far as possible. With lowbies, I try and level them to ten so I can start running the TFs like crazy, but I do some good ol' radio mishes for any 35-49's who have already done most of the TFs.

How do I spend 2XP Weekends?

The same way I spend every weekend that I don't go to a CoH or NCSoft event.

Either solo or teaming with people I know.

From what I've heard about Black Friday, (I've never gone out on that day, nor do I wish to) Double XP weekends make a lot of people act like that in game.

Fri/Sat/Sun nights, doing 12hr shifts.
I'll probably not participate a great deal. :/
