each charge of the experienced power gives you 5 bars of patrol XP; while XP booster doubles the xp earned for a time (1 hour I believe).

Restore and Revive are both resurection powers, one is self only the other is ally only ( I forget which is which).

But that thread disappeared with the I21 beta forums.
The info has been put up on the wiki under the root Super Pack entry. The Heroes and Villains entry has details on this specific set; some of which still needs to be filled in, but there seems to be more than enough there to see most of the patterns. When combined with Z's post on The Numbers we should be able to put together some better estimation tools.

Quickly, an average pack has 2.21 Common, 1 Uncommon, 1 Rare, and 0.79 Very Rare.

Hi CoH Developpers and Marketers!

I take the time to write here that i am VERY pleased with the new Super Packs!

I am an adult and i do not mind gambling once in a while. So i bought 3 times the 24-Super Packs and got much fun opening them all.

I am very satisfied. I got all kind of cool stuff and do not feel it was a waste.

To answer to those players who feel it is too expensive then pelase read the following:

1) I bought 8000 points for 100$ and got an extra 1600 bonus ( which alone pays for the first 24 packs )

2 ) I pay a monthly 15$ subscription to the game.

3) If we add 100 + 15 then playing CoH this month will cost me 115$.

4) What is 115$? It is less than 4$ a day to play a game i like. It is less than buying beer.

5) 115$ was what i could spend in one single night in a nightclub or a restaurant not long ago.

6) So CoH is VERY CHEAP entertainment ( like any MMO ) in my book.

Thank You City Of Heroes for all the fun you give me every day at a budget price!

I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Buying patterns will determine the results.

I don't want to support 'exclusive' costume sets in grab bags myself.

The ATO's are something you can get now with merits and inf. I don't understand "unsubscribing in protest", you don't *have* to buy these if you don't want to.

I've bought 3 and got most of the elemental set outside the boots and backpack. I'll likely wait for them to hit the market separately to get those. It's just a matter of time.

For those who want the costume pieces but are worried about spending more than $20 in order to get them, it might be helpful for more folks who actually purchase them to offer details about when they completed their costume set.

As per several Developer posts, including Zwillinger's post last evening detailing the weight of the parts in each pool, costume pieces are heavily weighted to award earlier than most, but not all, other items. The proof is in the numbers. If you purchased a Super Pack, please post at which point you acquired all of the costume pieces.

I used two separate accounts. I bought the bundle of 25 for 1440 on each account. All 11 Elemental Order Costume Pieces within 15 packs. No black wolf pet though.

First account took 10 Packs.
Second Account took 15.

The remaining packs mean i'll have a lot of extras and Reward Merits galore. I mean, a ridiculous amount of Reward Merits.

No, actually, it's not.

That's what some of us thought about the stuff locked away behind Incarnate merits, especially the non-incarnate related stuff like the "Catchbreath" emote. It's still locked away.

There's NO reason to think you'll ever get those parts by anything other than throwing money at it and being lucky.

I have to admit, you guys did a really nice job with the "pack of cards" motif. I'm trying to remember - are you going to make it so we can get packs from the VIP T9 reusables?

I just finished opening my first 24 set and I got all the elemental costume pieces, about 15 or so ATOs, only 3 catalysts, and 975 Merits, plus a bunch of consumable junk that I may actually start using now that I have so much (most of my vet reward versions have laid untouched so far per my usual "I better save it until I need it" mindset that I have yet to break myself of).

I've no issue with 1 fairly easily acquirable exclusive item going in these packs. I will likely buy more from time to time. I will say, though, that if more exclusive items start going into them, I will never buy another. I still grind my teeth at all the non-incarnate rewards locked behind incarnate trials, and won't support super packs becoming one locked behind real money.

So, 1 exclusive shiny as incentive = good. More than 1 = middle finger.

Honestly I hope no one buys these things so that they're considered a failure and they stop happening. It's just not worth it. Maybe these would be neat to have as Empyrean Merit random rolls or something, but for PP's it just doesn't sit well with me.

Anyways all that being said, since ATO's are for sale in these things now does that mean they're also for sale at merit vendors now?

Here's my two cents...

I won't be buying the Super Packs. I'll take my chances that the costume pieces will eventually be offered separately and if they're not, I just won't have them. It'll suck, since I have everything else unlocked costume-wise (barring Incarnate stuff). But, that's the choice I'm making. I absolutely hate the idea of buying these packs, hoping to finish off a set of costume pieces and ending up with a lot of items I just don't want. I hope this practice stops here and now. It seems most of the feedback being offered by the community at large is that we don't like it. Hopefully, the devs will listen and that'll be the end of exclusive costume pieces within Super Packs.

The elemental order costume pack would eventually be sold standalone on the store. Nobody is forcing you to buy the packs for the costumes.

Either way, I'm holding out on the super packs until Enhancement Converters are available standalone on the store. Don't see why you decided to launch the super packs without the Converters so we don't need to open a billion packs to get a full set of ATOs for a specific hero/villain.

I got all of the Elemental Order pieces as of my 11th pack, just like in beta.

On beta, it took 13 packs for me to get the costume set: $13. It took to the 32 pack for the black wolf pet. Then again, those numbers are about as meaningful as trying to count sand grains on a beach.

The morally bankrupt people I was referring to was Business Management and Marketing divisions of Paragon Studios. Though I do reserve to say that people spending hundreds of dollars on these packs have more money than brains. I use the same term for those that get involved with CCG games now.

On beta I got 80% of the costume bits within the first 4 packs. However...

I don't think I am going to take that gamble with the packs on live.

Sorry, devs, but I am NOT a rich player. You won't make a wad of money from me with this. I'll wait till the full costume set is available in some sort of pack.

Strange, as I can pay $0 a month and play the same game you are.

I'm not going to berate your decision to spend $115 for something that makes you happy. I understand that arguement. I'm glad you have made sound decisions in your career to be gainfully employed to the point where you can support said entertainment in such manner.

I cannot.

For me this is not a "I won't pay to play CoX!". I'm currently paying for it now. What I will stand by is I will not pay for the "possibility" of getting costumed parts for the game. For me it's not worth the $4 a day for 30 days straight.

I love the set, and I will definitely pay an good amount of money to acquire it, but I'm more of a 'sure thing' consumer than a 'gambler'. Thank you.
