They really should have given Edward Norton what he wanted to reprise his role...

I think Norton was a bit of jerk to Marvel about it.
I'm fine with Marvel sticking to their guns and making the change.
I hope the new guy does fine - but man will it be hard to stand out with that cast.

This presentation gives the impression that Loki is one of the Avengers, which would actually be pretty funny.
I think they added Loki so they could spell out "Avengers" but then decided that was too cool and made them all "A's".

Interesting. Without knowing anything about the film at this point, I am guessing that Loki will be the big bad they all have to fight. Possibly with the acquisition of the cosmic cube?

Correct.
Initially, they'll be teaming up against the Hulk, ala Ultimates Vol 1 and the original Avengers series.
I've also heard that the Skrulls s/l may be involved but I hope not. That'd be too much clutter for one movie, imo.

I wouldn't mind if Skrulls are involved but then I hope Loki is just manipulating things in the background and is saved for the next Thor movie.

It was either butt or bewbs. I am pleased with the decision they made.
Also, Sam Jackson/Nick Fury has a different pose. Maybe you have to face a different way if you aren't a caucasian male?

If you analyze the poster another way, the other person with their back facing forwards is Loki who is the villain. So maybe Black Widow betrays the Avengers in this movie?
