Ah ok then.

On the Plus side this will remove the confusion that's always been abundant with her name and her daughters name. Now that she's dead there's only the one Miss Liberty.

Looks like the Villains have done the world a favor. :P

Psst. It was Miss Liberty who died. It's Ms. Liberty that remains alive.

So am i the only one who thinks SOMEBODY will sacrifice themselves to bring her back? Surely you all noticed her spirit above her when the spell happened right?

See that's exactly what I was talking about.

There I go making this whole statement about not getting the names confused anymore, and naturally I get the names confused.

There was ONLY ever one.

Statesman's daughter is Alexis Cole-Duncan, who was known as is Miss Liberty.

Her daughter and Statesman's granddaughter is Megan Jessica Duncan, who goes by Ms. Liberty. The one who trains heroes in Atlas Park.

Numina used to be able to raise the dead. Did she conveniently forget how to do that?

She was already dead, killed either by Darrin Wade or a player villain. That was an illusion fading.

Ah, so it's kind of like the difference between Doctor Strange and Dr. Strange.

Almost on top of the abandoned lab marker.

That happens in the hero version too. And I figured it would happen from the loading screen.
I like to think that it's Malaise talking to himself in the cut scenes.

Well you know, that's just like Psyche standing there in Malaise's cell going "NO I WON'T READ YOUR MIND EVEN THOUGH YOU KNOW ALL THESE DETAILS AND WHO'S BEHIND THIS AND THE WHOLE PLOT, YOU TELL ME WITH YOUR MOUTH!"

Seriously, the writing is AWFUL.

Numina, as detailed in the comics, is severely time-limited on raising the dead. Even with Manticore frantically racing, she was too late to bring Statesman back without a more recently deceased soul to piggyback.

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

Typically, it's considered a serious ethical violation to force one's way into someone's mind and pull out whatever information one wants.

It was rather sad, even though we didn't get to spend much time with Alexis - but she seemd like a sensible and capabale person who was working to make the world a better place.

Ah, villains doing villainy. I wasn't expecting to actually be able to take out a hero this early in the SSA storyline, so I was surprised.

Edit: Though, now that I think about it, there is a missed opportunity in the arc, not talking about the ending, though. In the villain version at least you fight the Shining Stars, would have been a great place to add some custom dialogue if you were a hero and ran those arcs before turning villain (which that character did). But all we got was generic 'You won't win!' 'I've beaten lots of punks like you,' etc.

You mean when they're like "Go ahead, read my mind," and she says "NO, YOU TELL ME!"

And also when lives are at stake and she chooses to be "nice" (despite getting permission) instead of delving into the plan?

Yeah, I guess the Phalanx subscribes to the "evil wins because good is stupid" morality system...

One funny thing I have noticed about the hero side vs villain side SSA's - the hero contacts will sell inspirations to you after you have started the story, none of the redside ones will though.

To be fair, when crazy people say "Read my mind"...you probably shouldn't.
